Like blood transfusion paients before they really started research about aids? fornido	I think you mean to ask, should we really be spending billions of dollars on a disease that is almost completely preventable. Well it is true, that if everyone acted accordingly, The AIDS virus could be completely wiped out in one generation, however that isn't going to happen. We still have irresponsible people on this planet, and that isn't going to change. Steve B	AIDS is all over the place. You couldn't even tell who had it. It is in white suburbia and all over the world. It is transmitted by oral sex even. This child has done nothing to the world however the male who has raped the women may have transmitted aids not only to her but also the child now how is there any justice in that? And to simply answer your question yes AIDS is THAT bad. Its diminishes your immunity to bacteria and diseases. There have been innocent children who have contracted from blood transfusions, There's a documented case where a woman contract HIV from her dentist accidently drooling in her mouth. The virus has certainly escalating through promiscuity and is classified as a STD, it's a consequence of indescretion with you sleep with or sharing drug needles. But by means of population control?
