it could be, a doctor will tell you for sure, if you are embarrassed to go to your family doctor go to a free STD clinic...they are good because that is all they do.
Yeast can be transferred to your husband, and from him to you. When you are treated for it he also has to be treated by rubbing the cream (in the same treatment you get) on his parts. You should also abstain for a few days, while you are solving the problem.
Pain during sex could be caused by PID (pelvic imflammatory disease) which in turn is caused by an untreated STD.

Sounds like a yeast infection, which can easily passed onto your husband, and if he is not treated to, he can pass it back to you.
You will need an anti-Fungal medication, some of these medications can be bought over the counter at the pharmacy, such as Monistat, Femstat and Canesten, I think there is a once of tablet now available, which is much better the the messy creams. However it might be worth seeing your doctor to ensure your both use the correct medication.

thrush, you both need to see a gp, to get some medication, otherwise, you will continue to pass it back and forth to each other, have warm salt baths, salt acts as a antiseptic and does promote healing, eat Probiotic yogurts often drink Cranberry juice.

I don't think a yeast infection would cause blisters - call your doctor; you'll want a test to make sure it's a yeast infection and not something called bacterial vaginosis - I got both after my first son was born and could not have sex at all, it was very painful. You can't treat bacterial vaginosis OTC and if you're in pain and that itchy definitely see your doc!

yeast infections can occur in men, though it is very uncommon. i believe your also describing the symptoms of ghoneria and clymidia. both curable diseases. get yourself an appointment with your obgyn asap! even if its just a yeast infection, its neccesary to take care of it right away.

You could have a yeast infection, and you could have given it to your husband, but to be careful you both want to see a doctor. The whole "blisters" part is a bit scary, and you should have him have that checked out.

Gross. If your husband gets blisters on his junk that probably means he has herpes. And he probably passed it on to you. Go to the gyno and get it checked out.

Sounds like an STD if your husband is itching w/ blisters. Get yourself checked out. If it was just you I would suggest Vaginitis, inflammation of the vagina caused by many things or even a urinary Tract infection feels that way, do you have urgency urinating?

You could well have transmitted a yeast infection to him and now you two keep cross infecting each other. However the blisters sound a little sinister- they could be herpes. Get both of you checked out by your doctor/ an STI clinic.

Yes, you may have a yeast infection. I hate to say it, but stop having sex for a while. You gave your yeast infection to your husband. Most men just carry the infection and give it back to you later. In your case, he got the infection too. Here's the deal:
Semen is very acidy. Your vagina is opposite. Each one kills bacteria. When you get semen in your vagina, it creates a neutral zone where yeast and other bacteria can grow.
Get a 7 day Over the counter yeast killer.
When you start having sex again, Clean up really well when done. Wear loose fitting pants. Try to keep your girl dry. My doctor recomended blowdrying it after getting out of the shower. If this doesn't help. See your doctor. He/She can give you some really strong oral meds to kill it.
