Ask the guy if he has been tested and negative? If he has no disease, and you use protection then you do not need to worry. But in the future, do not change too many partners. It carries risk. And always play very safe. You are still very young and probably wack off is better now.

Ok, everyone needs to stop freaking out over the gay sex thing. Grow up. You don't have HIV. There is a 0.00000000001% chance, if that much. Don't worry.

Relax and calm down. You're fine. You might want to educate yourself, though. Call (800) 243-2437 and they can give you info about safe sex.

Yes, I'm sorry, but there is a good chance of you contracting HIV. And unlike all these unsensitive answers, I'm truly sorry for you. Condoms don't do as much as they say to prevent STDs.

Don't listen to them. Every 16yr old has a sex drive. Just don't do it w/ strangers or people you might not trust. Also don't perform oral!!! Stds can be transmitted orally also. You have 6 mos. before test results will be accurate. Don't sweat it. You'll be fine. Just be safe!

First of all does he have hiv? Second, if you are that concerned don't have sex until you are in a serious committed relationship. Third, go talk to a doctor about it. Fourth, I believe you just aren't ready to have sex. The one good thing, you did have protected sex. That at least shows that you are certainly not stupid. Go talk to an adult that you trust. I just don't think you are ready for this. Good Luck:) I HAD to add to this after seeing what everyone else was writting. PLEASE go talk to a health professional!! These people are giving you wrong information. Get back online and check out health websites if that is all you are comfortable with but please...get some REAL information instead of these biased idiots on here!!

Go get tested. Go to the doctor. As you know, there is no cure for HIV but their is treatment and the sooner you know the better. With any disease it can get worse without proper treatment. But if you used a condomn and you used it right then your chances of having HIV are fairly small. But it doesnt hurt to be sure. Better to be safe than sorry! Good luck!

the first questio n that needs too be anwserd here is number one is this your fiorst experience, with a gay partner?? 2 are you gonna stay gay or what here thats your choicss, etc, 3 if you have multiple pasrtners, etc or play the field etc, you are more likely too contract aids etc. 4 how did you have sex with him as a gay partner here i wont go into the variouis stages here, no too turn anyone off(iam also a gay male okay with my partner for 5 years now) okay we get t tested about every six months, okay but we always use rubbers etc) okay do understand that, rubbers etc, are not io percemt effective okayy, i think from being gay what kind of sex was involved okay, okay so get yourself tested oftenn, it dosent materr who you are with male or female etc. you can always contract it, etc, davey and steviee

If you used a condom and it did not break then you were as protected as you could be during sex. Of course there is a possibility of having contracted an STD, but odds are that you did not. If you know the status of the guy you had sex with that might give you some peace of mind. Also, go get tested. Keep in mind that HIV will not necessarily show up in a test for 6 months, but it is good to get tested at 3 months too. Like I said though, if you used a condom then you took the best precautions you can take when you are going to have sex.

The only way to keep from contracting any STD's is abstinence. However, that isn't reasonable and in your case, it wasn't an option. As far as I would say, if he used a condom, that would keep from transmiting unwanted STD's. Good luck!

16 is young for sex. Having said that, did you talk with your partner about his health status? If you have not, do it. If he has health issues you should be aware of, he should let you know. You could always talk to a doctor and have a few tests run if it will put your mind at ease. You can also order HIV test kits over the internet. You send it in after following the instructions and you can stay anonymous. He would have to be infected and passed on to you through bodily fluids. Also you could try planned parenthood, it is not just for women. It is for both sexes, and all lifestyles. A great place for information. It is awesome that you did practice safe sex. Make sure you always do to stay as healthy as possible. Stay well. :)

Don't be scared, at the moment you feel that it is only happening to you, but believe me when I say, most of us have been in a situation were we feel alone and scared so sharing this worry will stop that anxiety. Go to your local GP and talk to them it will be confidential and put your mind at ease.

hmmm.....
no offense meant but you really got shafted.
jeesh. Ignorance will get you killed alright.
The fact that you had anal sex wherein your partner was the violator and you the violatee is already repulsive and abominable.
Anyway, as long as the condom didn't break and the guys semen didn't spill into your lacerated anal canal. You're basically safe. But only a HIV diagnostic test can verify that for sure.
Sorry for sounding homophobic.
Good luck and peace.

Chances are higher if you were the "catcher" instead of the "pitcher" but unlikely either way if you wore a condom. If you decide to continue having sex with males you may want to visit Planned Parenthood to discuss options to protect yourself and your partner.

Calm down take a deep breath!
Truth is thr is no such thing as safe sex.
It is good that you were smart enough to use protection, which has lessened your chance.
Be smart get tested, and the next time you think about engaging in sexual activities- think about what you are going thru now.

Not likely. But if you're going to worry about it, get tested.
Always use protection and always assume that your partner is HIV positive.

Since you claim to have protected sex and since the condom didnt break,ur safe. Not to worry.
Remember the ABC of HIV prevention,
A=Abstinance from sex until marriage.
B=Being faithful to one uninfected partner.
C=Regular and consistant use of Condoms.
