yes, any exchange in bodily fluid can give you and STD if the other person has it. Some people are just carriers too and dont have it, but can transfer it. I think there was something on the news recently about getting aids from kissing, because the strands are in saliva. Be carefule

How the heck do you know if he has an STD? People lie or might not know that they have an STD. And swallowing doesn't have anything to do with it. You can't get genital STD's from oral sex, ie. you won't get genital herpes down there unless there is contact down there. Be safe, use a condom when you have more than just oral sex.

not really, but you can't really know if you or someone else has STDs without getting tested. most STDs do NOT have symptoms so it is very heard to know for sure. its best to use sort of protection, a condom or a dental dam. its not the swallowing that will get you, its the skin to skin contact. you can get STDs in your mouth, throat and even your eyes. really you don't want that. be careful. and know who you are having sex with, even if it is just oral.

If neither person has an STD, obviously there's no STD to be spread. They don't just form out of mist or something. And yes, it doesn't matter whether or not you swallow, you can get an STD from oral sex.

Of course you cannot get any STDs. Why would you get an STD if he doesnt have an STD?? and vice versa??? Hypothetically, if he had an STD you can still get it even if you dont swallow, because there is veyr much still pre-***.

Well, you really don't know for sure if the person doesn't have any STDs unless you accompany them to the doctor's office and witness the tests being done. For example, men can carry HPV (the human papimillovirus) and pass it on to women. Oftentimes men don't know they even have it. HPV can cause cervical cancer.

Yes you can because you really don't know if that person does or does not have a "sexually transmitted infection" or STI. So if you are asking can you contract an STI from performing oral sex the answer is yes. Some infections such as herpes and gonorrhea can be passed on from fluid exchange. You could suffer symptoms such as:
Sore throat
Tonsillitis
Oral lesions
Cold sores
Fever
Swollen glands
You can protect yourself by using laytex barriers like condoms and dental dams or avoiding oral sex if you have gone to the dentist recently, dental procedures can leave small cuts in your mouth

"Can you get an STD by giving head to someone that you know doesn't have any STD's and you don't have any ether?"
Assuming you could know for certain that neither of you had an STD, no. You can't get an STD from someone who does not have an STD. The act of sex does not cause STD's to generate spontaneously.
Tell your school to fire your biology teacher.
Funny typo in this one. I felt like asking, "do you normally do some ether before giving head?"

You can get oral herpes if the other person is infected, you said they weren't so you should be fine..When the infection is on or near the mouth, it is called oral herpes. Oral herpes causes sores on the mouth or lips called “fever blisters” or “cold sores.” Oral herpes is usually caused by HSV-1 and can be spread by oral sex.
But if neither of you have any STD's then you have no worries.

If neither of you are infected, then no. STD's don't just appear, but never trust when someone says they're clean.. if you have the slightest doubt in your mind, then get checked out.
But no, if you are both clean, nothing is going to come about.
