Yes! Bodily fluids! Although, it's the persons actual blood that best transports the disease. Aids is not as strong as Hepatitis when outside of the body. Don't give someone oral sex you wouldn't have unprotected sex with.

I think it is really rare that you will get infected. Your gums must be bleeding for you to get the virus. Generally you shouldnt brush your teeth 1 hour before and 1 hour after sex, just to make sure.

it depends on how deep his penis is inside your throat, because oxygen kills the virus. i think the possibility is small, but you sure can be infected especially if his semen contain blood.

well anything is possible - and yes contracting HIV from swallowing HIV positive semen is a distinctly possible event... but here is the surprising part, you can get it even if you don't swallow and just give a head to an HIV+. While compared to unprotected sex the risk of contracting HIV from oral sex is less it nevertheless exists. Then reason in that mucous membrane in your mouth and GI tract are vunerable and can allow the virus to enter your blood steam which offcourse can lead to HIV.

Any substantial transfer of body fluids is potentially risky.
No point using a condom if you simply allow transfer by other means, DON'T DO IT!!

YES! That is not just an "old wives tale". You can contract any STD when there is an exchange of fluids taking place. Blood born pathogens are not only in the blood but also in any liquid in your body, even tears. Yes tears.

*sigh* I'm amazed how much the folks on here don't know.
HIV is passed via fluid-to-fluid contact. You will become infected if his *** comes into contact with a cut or sore in/on your mouth/throat/lips.
You don't even have to swallow to become infected. All you need is for the virus to transfer from his fluid to yours.
This is from the website below:
"To infect someone, the virus has to get past the body's defenses. These include skin and saliva. If your skin is not broken or cut, it protects you against infection from blood or sexual fluids. Saliva contains chemicals that can help kill HIV in your mouth.
If HIV-infected blood or sexual fluid gets inside your body, you can get infected. This can happen through an open sore or wound, during sexual activity, or if you share equipment to inject drugs."

Not necessarily... See AIDS transmission does not necessarily happen though digestive tract....
If the person who had the semen has a small gash in his/her mouth and or digestive tract there is a possibility of infection. Since the stomach is filled with acid it is not a good environement for most viruses.
Still the best way to find out is to get tested and further testing withing after a 6 month waiting period.
