Doubtful....If it just happened today. It does not present symptoms that quickly. Not everyone who ingests salmonella bacteria will become ill. Children, especially infants, are the most likely candidates to get sick from it. About 50,000 cases of salmonella infection are reported in the United States each year and about one third of those are in children 4 years old or younger. A salmonella infection generally causes nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea (sometimes bloody), fever, and headache. Because many different kinds of illnesses can cause these symptoms, most doctors will take a sample of a stool to make an accurate diagnosis. Symptoms of most salmonella infections usually appear within 3 days of contamination and typically go away without any medical treatment.

You cannot catch Salmonella from oral sex, but you can get salmonella posioning from uncooked chicken. Seeing that she is very ill, she probably got food posioning. Sorry!

Yes, if you didn't wash your genitalia. It's just another, rather odd, way of transmitting the germ cells.

Well, there are a number of other causes for her nausea, but yes, in theory what you are discussing is possible. Salmonella is primarily a foodborne illness of contact transfer, with the original source, such as chicken or eggs, usually contaminating some other food item through contact. It is also possible that if the chicken were contaminated with salmonella, you transferred it to some other vector than your penis, such as salad greens. If she tests positive for salmonella, there's your answer, as her nausea might be totally unrelated. Totally independent of this sexual incident, it is essential that you wash your hands with plenty of water and soap every time you set down raw poultry before moving on to another food preparation item or another activity.

Under the conditions you describe if the chicken was in fact contaminated with salmonella and you transferit to your pee pee then she came in contact with it it is concieveable. (this answer this not intended to diagnose any disease)

If you didn't wash your hands after you handled the raw chicken or before you used the restroom, it is possible that you transferred Salmonella to your genetials. If you recieved oral sex before washing your genitals, it is entirely possible that your girlfriend picked up Salmonella from you.
Can't say that i have ever heard of someone contracting Salmonella this way before.

oh dear.
Yes she could have caught it from you. While the chances are slim, it is a possibility.
Have you ever seen those Lysol commercials where they talk about wiping everything b/c salmonella can live on almost any surface?
She could have caught it. Take her to a doctor and have her get checked out.
Hopefully she's just sick...

well preparing raw chicken and not washing your hands after. There is a possibility that it carrried salmonella. It depends on how long after the deed that she became sick. I would think it could possibly happen but, think it would be unlikely. Hope she is doing well soon. here is info on symptoms of salomonella poisoning. Hope it helps you.
