im not sure with your question can an already infected person be infected is it? or why it a typing error. a person who isnt infected yes can be infected by a syringe contaminated with the virus but since the person already infected i dont think there is any change but im sure there are chances of getting another infecteion like blood poisoning maybe tetanus which can affect the already weak imunne system .ope i have answered your question

I also am not clear on your question.It sounds like your asking if someone already infected can get infected.And the answer is Yes! If you have one particular strain of the virus and get pricked by a needle or any other exposure,to a different strain,you can become "cross contaminated"is what its called.This is very dangerous because your body has to fight two different viral strains at once,more destructive than having just one strain.

Syringes don't prick people, but if you're referring to a needle attached to one the answer is yes I suppose you could reinfect someone.

Yes that is one way of getting HIV. However it haves been proven that not all people who get pricked by a syringe containing HIV blood, got HIV. You should have washed the area off really well right after it happend. Then you should get an HIV test then go back and get another one in 6 months to be sure.

Yes, it's one of the main ways to spread the HIV virus. . . Get yourself checked. . in one month, three months, six months, and then again at one year. Sometimes HIV will show up right away, other times it can take up to a year to show up, so if you get check every few months as stated, it can be caught early, IF it does develope, and your likeliness of being treated is much higher

I think so. If this happened to you at work you need to immediately tell your boss. OSHA requires that workplaces have an exposure control plan. There's a protocol to follow for needle sticks.

Yes, usually health professionals that are stuck with dirty needles are tested for HIV, then again tested in 6 months following the needle stick, and then again one year following the stick. Usually this virus shows up within 3 months, so after the 6 month test you are usually ok if it is negative. They like to do the 1 year test just for safe measures.
