d3c0y	Seriously, if he hasn't told you by now what makes you think he's going to tell the truth. You're going to have to get yourself checked to be safe. Make sure you do it sooner than later. A lot of STD's can create a lot of havoc in your body (make you impotent/infertile or even cause cancer) and there are not always signs/symptoms that are completely recognizable. jennifer	you can get tested for free at certain clinics. Just tell him you don't want to sound weird or make him feel bad but you have something important to ask him. ninnx3	i thought there were free clinics that tested for free?? you can check some out around your local area online. yeah thats a tough thing to do since he will probably take it the wrong way. just find out more about his past relationships and if he had sex with any other girls. then just slowly ask if he ever gotten tested? just bring it up along .. dont just ask it randomly. but i mean if he had an std and never told you or didnt know.. and you had sex with him.. you wouldve gotten it earlier. but it wont hurt to try. just tell him your really concerned. and he shouldnt take it too personal. its the right and safest thing to do. just find a clinic for free and bring him along. never hurts to try especially if its for free. Moe A	If he is much older than you as you implied, then he heard the question before. It is perfectly acceptable to ask him if he had any STDs in the past. It is your right to know. I would seriously doubt he would take offense to it as long as you frame it seriously and not in an accusatory tone. Most adults test themselves on a periodic basis and you should have no shame in asking him when he was last tested and if had been with anyone else since then.
