There is no need of using vaporiser or humidifier to get relief from cold if the suffering person consumes atleast 700 gms of Garlic after peeling of its skin (in a month) well cooked with other food. In six months of continuing the above food regimen, cold will never touch the person. In six years, the person will even forget as to what the cold/sinus problem is.

Vaporizer - also try steaming up your bathroom with the door closed - run shower on hot and allow steam to fill room. Breathe moist air for 30 mins at a time.
Best Wishes!

As far as gadgets of vaporiser an humidifiers are concerned you have to search for google only . but if you want to get rid of Cold.. you can have your Handy vaporizer as under.

Boil the five liters of water steaming.. in the wide vessel. and put the vicks or what ever the ointment you are advised to use.
Now ensure that you cover yourself and the steaming vessel under you such that your face is in above the vessel. Also ensure that you wear only underwear so that maximum vapour is inhaled by you and reaches to your lungs.

sinus relief I donot know.

Both a vapouriser and humidifier can be beneficial for colds and sinus problems as they both increase moisture in the room which relieves congestion and make breathing easier.

It really comes down to personal preference. The main difference is that the vapouriser uses steam (heats the water), while humidifiers produce a cool mist. If you choose a vapouriser, make sure that the hot water cannot be easily knocked over to cause potential burns. If you choose a cool mist humidifier, make sure that you strictly follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning so that the humidifier is kept in a hygienic state. Also, you may want to get a humidifier with a filter so that minerals are not dispersed into the atmosphere.

The Ion-60 and Ion-80 are both really good. They both come with an optional filter, 6 litre tank, a few different humidity settings and built in ionisers. The Ion-80 also includes a humidistat so that you can get accurate control of room humidity. See http://www.topbuys.com.au/humidifiers_14.aspx for more info.

Remember to see your doctor before trying any products or remedies to ensure that you are on the right track.
