Coloured phlegm indicates an infection as does the fever...get back to your dr as you need anti biotics. You will need to tell him that you are bringing up foul phlegm, not nice but he's used to it!
You can self treat for the rest of the symptoms (sounds like a cold or flu) Paracetamol for the aches and fever.

As well as Ventolin you should also be on a preventor (ie Beclomethasone) Ask your dr or pharmacist about managing your asthma symptoms better.

How high is your fever? Usually green is viral & yellow is bacterial...but adults don't usually get high fevers 102-103 so if you do...than the doctor will prescribe antibiotics for a upper respiratory infection or lower respiratory infection. Sounds like w/the headache & sneezing that could be more like an allergy ...than you would need different medications like antihistimines and/or the Ventolin as prescribed. Foul smelling breath does not go w/allergies. Call the doctor again & again until you are happier & more symptom free.

You need to see your doctor again.
It is possibly something different that's causing your cough this time.

if you are coughing up phlegm etc then that is an infection and you need anti biotics.

green or yellow phlem = bacteria, ya need some antibiotics (Z-pak usually works good)...the foul smell is probably just increased bacteria and halitosis from mouth breathing which is drying your mouth out. you probably had an upper respiratory infection that has worked its way into your lungs.

ahh Ventolin....good ole "all-better-all" or Albuterol for the generic name....we call is "all better all" cause docs have a tendency to overprescribe it....could be worse, they could have given you Mucomyst via nebulizer lol. You dont need a preventor as previously answered unless you actually have a history of asthma.

get some saline nasal spray to help irrigate your nose, ask you doc for some Rhinocort or nasocort (i prefer nasocort myself), 24hr Drixoral works good for me too to help clear up nasal congestion.

It sounds like you could have bronchitis, and/or a sinus infection, and/or pneumonia. Go see a doctor, maybe a different one. Explain that you have been coughing up green phlegm for over three days and how bad you feel.

It sounds like it could be a chest infection as I had most of those symptoms earlier this year. If it started off as a cold then it is likely and if it has been for more than 3 weeks it could be a secondary chest infection which means that the first one didn't clear up completely before you caught another one. You poor thing. Ask the doc for some AMOXYLIN (antibiotic) and if it would be ok to take as an asthma sufferer. Good luck and god bless. xx
