Yes, it is. You need to have it treated because the hacking coughs are horrible and it can potentially lead to other, worse lung diseases.

No, not always. Acute bronchitis can be caused by a virus, other upper respiratory infections or inhalation of an irritant, ie. smoke. Bronchitis can become a chronic problem and is treated with medication such as bronchodialators, steroids and antibiotics. Heavy smokers can suffer from chronic bronchitis and emphysema and usually need to be treated with supplemental oxygen. Bronchitis in babies less than six months old caused by a virus called RSV can be very serious and may require hospitalization. If you suffer from bronchitis see your doctor or preferably a lung specialist.

Very, you are putting alot of pressure on your lungs & throat!
See if you have a humidifyer u can ad vicks or the proper one from a drug store, to help r cough and breathing at night.
tea, honey, & lemon is good for r throat right now.

yes it is but its too late for me i have copd it resulted from smoking and i never quit the habit. if you have Bronchitis see your dr. before its too late

Yes, It can be serious, it can last for months.
The disease comes in two forms: acute (lasting less than 6 weeks) and chronic (reoccurring frequently for more than two years). In addition, people with asthma also experience an inflammation of the lining of the bronchial tubes called asthmatic bronchitis
