It killed you. you damn SMOKER I hate Smokers they think it's everyone's fault that they get sick. And you know all those taxes you pay to the government that goes to hospitals it pays for surgery and helps people who basically kill themselves because they smoke so if anyone else feels the same way good for you and bad for smokers. thank you.

You're good, You have to smoke for like 30 years to develop lung cancer, or it has to run in your family.
Don't worry about it, my parents have been smoking for 14 years and then they quit and started back up again, but they are fine.
I've smoked too for like 2 years and my doctor says I have good lungs.
the stupid people who learn if they don't quit now they will develop it.. and still don't quit, well that's another story.
Have fun and live it up, you only live once.

Smoking's a gamble. My Poppop's been smoking for his whole life and has emphysema, but his sisters who've also smoked their whole lives are pretty healthy. You either get lucky or you don't.

Nothing really.
Your body has gotten rid of whatever bit of nasty stuff you have inhaled, and there is little chance you've built any sort of addiction.
If anything, you've wasted a few hours of your life sitting around smoking, cleaning up and worrying about it.

Nothing much I would say, your body clears something like this out in 24 hours if you have otherwise healthy lungs. For goodness sake kiddo don't pick up the habit, you'll be very sorry when you get older. Same with drugs and booze. All 3 will ruin your life. Be your own person.

Well, according to the doctors, every cigarette smoked by one person takes away 10-minutes of their life away. You do the math.

There are deposits of tar residue and Nicotine in each of the tiny alveoli sacs which make up your lung tissue. Once the tar and Nicotine go in, they will never get out. You can't clean them, and your mucous and coughing will not get it out. If you stop smoking now you shouldn't have too much damage yet. If you continue smoking you risk getting cancer or emphysema later in life.
Smoking also speeds up the aging process. Your skin gets dry, wrinkled and discolored earlier in life. Your breath and hair, and even your skin smell, though you don't even notice. Food doesn't taste as good, and worse, your body gets addicted to the Nicotine and you end up craving the next smoke, and the next and the next. If you are a chain smoker you will end up doing 100 cigarettes easily in a week. It is using up your money, which could be spent on other things. You tend to get real nervous or edgy unless you have a smoke, so your stamina and ability to deal with stress is greatly reduced. You become a tobacco addict.
I am 55. I smoked for a few years and stopped. My friend kept smoking. He is now breathing through a plastic tube in in nose going down his wind-pipe out of silver canister of Oxygen. He has to cart it around with him. The smoking clogged up his lungs and now he needs pure oxygen to get any at all to his lungs and his blood system. He is suffocating, even though he is breathing. He is being smothered by his own body because of all the tar and Nicotine which is clogging up his lung tissue. He is losing weight, loss all of his hair, and is getting chemo-therapy and radiation treatment to try to stop the cancer, which is so widely spread that it is inoperable. He is short-winded, and just standing up exhausts him. He is a shadow of a man he once was. Smokng ruined his life. He tried to stop, but kept starting up again and again. He has ruined his life, and his wife has to take care of him like a baby. It is very, very sad, and there is nothing anyone can do about it NOW. Decades we tried to get him to quit, but we failed. Now it is too late.
If you look at the Wikipedia site on lung cancer you will see some gross color photographs of what your lungs look like after smoking. Maybe it will stop you now, before you go past the point of no return.
It is great that you are thinking about this. Maybe you'll be like me and quit and have good health in your adult years. Or maybe you'll end up like my friend, who had to quit his job, stay at home, live on disability insurance, and is bed-ridden, living like an old vegetable...

That's only 5 packs. If you quit now, your lungs will be clear in a few months. You're probably not addicted.
You might have a cough, but it'll go away, assuming you don't have any underlying lung issues.

Nothing. It takes about 10 packs years -- that would be a pack a day for ten years, half a pack for 20 years, etc. -- before you start to see a signfiicant increase in risk.
If you want numbers, do a search for "smoking risk calculator."

Probably nothing, that's only 5 packs of cigarettes. Some people smoke that much in 3 days.

I agree with the first answer. Let's see, if you smoked 20 cigarettes a day, which is about average, that's 5 days of smoking. Not exactly a lethal dose. So, quit!

each cigarette on average shortens your life by about 11 minutes, so you've lost around 18-19 hours, and that'll keep increasing. Also, tar will collect in your lungs which can lead to cancer, carbon monoxide damages your blood eventually making it hard to breath, you risk infection, your arteries will harden leading to blood clots that will kill you etc. etc. - its worth quitting

Honestly why do you want to know?
Cigarettes are bad for your body and contain many toxic chemicals. Its crazy that they sell them at all.
Honestly please quit.
If I had to guess it would be equal to a tablespoon of each of the following: paint thinner, tar, cyanide, nail polish remover, Formaldehyde, toilet cleaner( ammonia), Benzene, insecticides, arsenic, and add in the Nicotine. ..... I will leave it to you to think how bad that is.

100 cigarettes = 5 packs It probably has not done that much to you unless you just started smoking a week ago. By the looks of it though, it may have affected your spelling.

Putting you on the road to smoking to your next 200 then to your 300 which means you are a slave to Nicotine and will chained to obeying it's addiction.
You are messing up the delicate self-cleaning mechanism in your lungs and putting cancerous chemicals into your body.
Quitting smoking will be more and more challenging the more you keep feeding your body with Nicotine.
50% of smokers will die from diseases caused by their smoking. Which means 50% of smokers will die earlier than they should of maybe by many years.
Fat cats at tobacco companies will not even bother to send a bunch of flowers at your funeral thanking you for being a long time loyal customer. They will say, it was not their cigarettes to blame even insisting Nicotine is not addictive. They will even look at you in the face and smile when they say that.
