ahh
Can a dime get stuck in your esophagus?
I swallowed one probably 5 days ago, and I'm freaking out because I think I'm experiencing shortness of breath. I don't wanna die!
Additional Details
I have a tingling sensation around that hole at the top of my rib cage...I went in for a physical today and asked my doctor about shortness of breath, but I was too embarrassed to mention that I swallowed a dime. I AM just a kid. Anyways, he told me that it was just some irritation with my lung, and it would be fine. But that's probably irrelevant. I'm still scared though!

Go to the doctor because it could be stuck!
It could have possibly been able to pass through the esophagus and possibly through your body but it will eventually come out and I can't imagine that being pleasant in any way.

You don't breathe thru ur esophagus, it would be hard to swallow and ur throat will be hurting. So chill :)
