I have asthma also. I have been told that ayoung person will grow out of it. Idont know if you will ever get rid of it but I hope you do. I am 60 years old and I have to watch the news every day to see how high the pollen count will be the next day. If it is very high I stay inside. I have to use my inhaler when I go outside sometimes. When it gets real bad I take a breathing treatment. If yours is that bad the best thing I know to do is go see your DR and tell him what is going on.

1) Asthma NEVER cures......and i repeat NEVER cures. If u r exposed to what your triggers ur asthma severe enough u will have an asthma attack, the reason why it seems like it goes away is Because their symptoms have lessened. So if u control your asthma with your steroids (advair, prednizone, etc.) and u do them correctly and as frequently prescribed your asthma should be stable and u will see yourself get better, but for some people it never goes away, so i guess it depends on the luck of the draw.
2) like i said before it is the luck of the draw.

I grew INTO asthma, my brother grew out of it, and my mom never got rid of it. Talk to your doctor. Asthma is weird.

i have friends who grew out of their asthma.
it might just be that (if you have allergies) the weather/the current season is triggering it in some way... (mine gets worst in spring-- i have bad allergies)
