milopoo2	i've had 3 children, but the most pain i've had was when my daughter was ill 2 years ago with appendicitis(sorry about spelling,never was a strong point) she was in theatre having her appendix removed 2 years ago on new years eve,also i might add it was actually my husbands 40th on the same day.all plans for the big party went down the pan. i hated seeing her in such pain, it was awful. mcfifi	I've got 4 kids, but I honestly believe the pain my first husband went through with kidney stones was worse than childbirth. He was absolutely screaming in agony with it, which I never was with the kids - bit of shouting and groaning, maybe, but not like he was. 2 possible explanations: 1. Kidney stones are inherently more painful than childbirth. 2. Men are wusses and can't cope with the levels of pain that women can. You choose! PS I had my kids without any drugs. serephina	When I had surgery to repair a broken elbow. the muscles were cut through to the bone (upper arm to almost wrist) and the bones drilled into and wired. the weeks of agony after ..ouch and not having full use of the arm for months. i thought childbirth was bad till then. ROBSTER	I once broke my arm and when i lifted it up it flopped over and looked like i had two elbows. That hurt quite a bit. I heard the bones crunch and screamed like a little girl. I was only 10 though...!!! In the hospital the doctor gave me some gas and air and said, "you know what we are going to do now don't you", i said "yeah", thinking he was just going to plaster it, but the son of a b***h pulled it and slotted the bones back into place. This is when i screamed again. I was lucky it was a clean break or i would have needed an operation. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

nanabooboo	it wasn't physical, in 1989 i lost my good friend aimee (car accident) and then i lost my granpa (emphysema) who raised me as if i were his own. nothing compares to the pain of never being able to see the ones that you love again, never being able to hug them one last time, nothing.
