10.
Short sharp pain then just a dull throb for a bit.
Take some painkillers before you go.

It really doesn't hurt too bad. It hurt me a little bit so I guess it depends on the person. Either way, it's worth it! It just feels like a pinch.
Enjoy :]

I have mine pierced twice on each lobe, and I got mine done at Claire's. I'm not sure how much it hurt, because of how long ago I got them done..but I did feel it. They basically sit you in a chair, sterilize your ear, make a mark, and then use an ear-piercing 'gun' that does it really quickly. After I got my first piercing, the area around the hole was itchy and slightly red, but that went away. If you can't stand any pain whatsoever, have a hand you can squeeze or stuffed animal to take out the pain on.
Hope I helped. :]

Pain level 15/20 but just for a split second. Ask for them both to pierced at the same time. Really it for a split second, do not get worked up about it. If while they are being done you think about the boy you dislike most in the world and imagine you are forced to kiss him it will be over. lol good luck

About a 10 on a 1-100 scale. It is just a quick pain that really isn't that bad. I had my ears first pierced when I was about 10 and I remember being scared to death. I had to repierce them several years ago. I was nervous but it was so quick it really did not hurt.

It's not really painful at all, I was really nervous when I got mine done at age 10, and for the least to say it only hurt like a 3. It's just like a small snap (like when you are snapping a button shut) and you don't feel a whole lot, then it's over with. Just keep yourself calm and if you would like you can put some ice on your ear before they pierce them, but it shouldn't be a big deal.

you better watch out...claire's employees are kindda...well
not very trustworthy. but that's jus tmy opinion.
i have my ears gaged and then a double piercing just regular studs...used to have my cartilage gaged too..had my lip pierced for a short time, it got too popular and i didn't wanna 'follow the crowd'.
so yeah, trust me when i say regular studs do NOT hurt as long as gaged ones do. even sometimes when i go to a bigger size [been 6's since 4th of july] it takes a lotttt of lube to get em in and it hurts. but my earlobes don't dangle, they're connected to my head...or whatever. like ya know...small ears and no little dangly lobe.? i don't know if i'm explaining that right.
BUT ANYWAYS
it hurts like for 10 seconds, i'm not very keen on pain either,
and if i could handle it..you can. you just siit in the chair thing, look at your friend or whoever that's with you or look around the store, it's just like a shot. you don't look at the person and it won't hurts as bad.
it'll be over in like a millisecond!
oh, they use a little piercing gun. only tattoo parlors use needles. besides that, the person who pierced their ears with a sewing needle was stupid. that's a great way to get hepetitis or an infection. so when you get older, do not pierce your body by yourself or by a friend. it doesn't bleed at all when a professional doesnt. so don't worry! your ears will be a little pink, but it'll be okay.

on a scale of 1 to 100 (100 being the most painful), it's like a 10. not a whole lot of pain at all. they numb your ears first, so then you really don't feel a lot of pain.

Mine never hurt once. I got them pierced when I was 6 months old and then again at 5 years old. They just clean your ear with betadine or alcohol and load the earring into the gun, line it up and then it's over with. They will explain how to take care if your new piercings. Have fun! LOL!

It feels like a slight sting, just for a second, and then the studs/hoops are in.
You don't have to worry, sweetie. There really isn't any pain. If it is done by a professional person, they will explain everything beforehand. You can tell them you are a bit nervous, and I am sure they will make you feel comfortable.
And just think of all the gorgeous earrings you will soon be wearing!!
