get her in to see a doctor cause lt sounds like her iron might be low. this will make you feel very tired and sleep alot. lm in the same situation as your wife is.. l sleep all day. so get her in and they may want to run a blood test to find out lf this is what lt is. or she can be pregnant. lt can be either one.

Have her blood checked. She may have an iron deficiency. I'm no doctor, but it sounds to me like she really needs to get to one.

if i were you i would take her to the hospital and i would not wait another day. If she is on more than one kind of med. they could be clashing and they do not work together well for her.
Or she is taking something that you don't know about.
Please take her to the hospital and take all her meds with you.Make sure you tell them exactly what is going on. insist on seeing a specialist and get to the bottom of this soon before its to late.

I hope this is not the reason but I had a friend who was diagnosed with cancer. When I asked him how he knew something was wrong he said that he was just tired all the time. Like he was unable to do anything. When he went to the doctor it turns out that he did have cancer. The body is tired because it is trying to fight what is going on.

During the time that she's awake, is she lucid? If she's disoriented and not making much sense, then you need to go to a hospital immediately.
On the flip side, she may have a virus or the flu... that'll wipe anyone out.
Take her to the doctor tomorrow if she seems to be sleeping normally. Sounds like they may need to do some bloodwork.

With her health history she needs to see a doctor asap. It is not normal to sleep for 6 days straight.
I'm rolling my eyes intensly at the pregnant answers, come one, no one sleeps continuously when pregnant, this is a sign of something more serious.

Too many possibilities, but if lucky it may be as simple as changing her diet, sleeping habits, or exercise.
Is she on meds?
overweight?
depressed?

That is way too long for her to be in the condition she's in........If she has Minor Exhaustion, then there's something causing it...I would take her to the emergency room as they will find out what's wrong or they will keep her until they know.

You wife's symptoms match perfectly for someone with kidney problem. Check her skin color and her eye-white to see if they look yellowish. These are classic indications of hepatitis or other kidney problem. She needs to go to the hopsital at once.

You really need to get her to an emergency room... that most definitely is not right. I'm certainly no doctor, but it could be a severe deficiency, lack of oxygen to the brain, organ failure... any number of things. Don't take chances.

She could be going through fatigue...which basically is, what your doctors are referring to, as exhaustion. It could've been caused by anything like...hectic schedules, or not enough hours of sleep (although I'm sure she's getting plenty now)
A way she could progress out of it would be to be active, (not working out all the time or anything, but taking 30 minute walks a day would be good), practice good sleeping habits at night, and manage stress.
You should definitely try that at first, but if you don't see results at all, go to your doctor again and explain the situation, and how you've been trying to get out of it. Bring up her medical history, as well and see if they could look further into it. If they insist that it is exhaustion, ask them ways and advice to get out of it.
Good luck to both you and your wife. Hope it all turns out fine!
