Why do pimples occur only on our face?
Why not other parts of the body?...
Why not other parts of the body?

Pimples occur due to blockage of oil glands opening with dust and sweat. As oil glands are on face hence pimples occur on face. |

You can get them on other parts of the body, although the face is the most common area. Inside the pore are 'sebaceous glands' which produce 'sebum'. When the outer layers of skin shed (as they do continuously), the dead skin cells left behind may become 'glued' together by the sebum. This causes a blockage in the pore, especially when the skin becomes thicker at puberty. |

People don't only get pimples on their face. You can get pimples all over your body. Not the most attractive thing, but it's life. Some people have more sensitive skin which causes them to break out more and in different places. |

They don't. You can get pimples anywhere on your body, it's just that since our face is exposed more, the skin there gets more dirt stuck in it and therefore, has more pimples/blackheads. |

The simple answer is, they occur all over our body. A pimple is an infection in the pore, because dirt or oil in it. Pimples are more likely to appear on the face, probably because of hair oils, sweat, and they fact that our face is exposed to elements and debris 24 hours a day. But it's not rare for people to get them on their backs or chest. I once had a friend who loved wearing low cut halter tops and had really bad "back-ne" and chest pimples. it was kinda gross. |

Anywhere you have skin, it is possible to get a pimple. The most common place is your face. Second most common is your back, then chest, then arms, then thighs. You can get them on your butt, and between your legs. You can get them in your armpit. You can get them anywhere. The face is the most common, though. |

pimples do not only occur on your face , they can show up just about anywhere on your body. Its most commen on your face and one of the main reasons people wake up with pimples is the bacteria from your face gets on your pillow and stays there. People sleep on it on a daily basis and all that oil and bacteria builds up into your pillow cover. Believe it or not this is one of the main reasons why. Make sure to wash your pillow case often to avoid outbreaks. I honestly wash my pillow cover almost everyday and Rarely wake up with pimples. Daily face washing is also important. |

Pimples can be on other parts of your body but they are mainly on the face. I've seen people get them on their back but that's pretty much it. There could be more that I am unaware of. |

Acne can occur anywhere, mostly on the face though because we touch our faces a lot with our bacteria covered hands Our hair, which has oil on it, gets on our face and can also cause acne. |

You can get pimples almost anywhere. The chest, back, and buttocks are the next most common places. All it is is plugged up sebaceous glands... thus it can happen in the weirdest places. |

People get pimples on all parts of their body, not just their face, and it's not so rare. Incidence increases in the wintertime, when people wear more clothes. |
