it is a bad attack of MIGRAINE. i only had it 3 times in my life. once when at school. i couldnt speak. all the words were in my head but they came out as gibberish. and the last time thankfully many years ago not only couldnt i speak and make sense i found to my complete horror i couldnt even write as i did before to alert someone what was wrong. fortunately never had it since. i was convinced i had had a stroke. see your doctor. if it is migraine, you need to see your doctor. go anyway, please.

You really need to go to the doctors asap. You could also ring National Health Direct. Their helpline number is 0845 4647. They should be able to help and I think the line is manned 24/7. Hope you're ok and the headaches stop soon.

Go to the emergency room of the nearest hospital so you can be evaluated. You are fortunate that your body is giving you signs in ADVANCE that something is wrong so you can get it evaluated and corrected. Many people are not that lucky.

There are a huge amount of missing bits of information. Age, past history, history of this problem, medication history, family history and alcohol, cigarette and drug history if any, so no one is going to pull a diagnosis out of the hat!
There are a number of possibilities, though the commonest is probably paralytic migraine, other more serious conditions do need excluded, you need a neurology referral and MRI scanning.

Sh*t, sounds like your brain is being deprived of oxygen. NOT joking...could be a mini or full stroke. Do not get upset, but get yourself down to A&E tonight. At very , very least, please call NHS direct to get move advice from them.
PLEASE DO THIS NOW.
Very Good Luck.

Sounds like a mini-stroke to me. I'd get to A & E as soon as possible - don't wait for an appointment at your docs - go NOW! Good luck.
EDIT: I've just read some of the answers - and God are there some really stupid ones. And yes, migraine's a possibility - but don't think so, especially not being able to speak properly or being able to string a sentence together. My mum had the same symptons. Diagnosis? MINI-STROKE. PAIN ADDICTION? Don't think so, Abby!!

visit with your family doctor or a neurologist. While this may be one of the migrane syndromes, and easily treated, it could be something far more serious, such as an anurysm or a tumour. You need to be evaluated with at least a CAT scan, and possibly an MRI. Do so soon, please. Good luck!

Its hard to say what this is - it is obviosuly a neurological problem which needs further examination by a GP and possibly a neurologist. It could be migraines, a seizure disorder or even a TIA (mini-stroke).
You need to speak to your GP as soon as you can.
Good luck xx
