Margaret golden girl	The eye ball is most delicate instrument of your body. What you experienced could be caused even by over-fatigue and stress, anemia etc... Neurons do not work quick enough, there is no picture created on your retina. Similar effects you can have after drinking spirit made illegally at home (methyl). saj666	Could be to do with too much blood at the back of your eye. Some times when you stand up too quickly your vision goes white for a few seconds as you get a rush of blood to the head. susiebbutler@btinternet.com	I honestly don't believe this. Why haven't you seen a doctor? Why didn't you go to A & E? There could be many causes - one, not mentioned, - a detaching retina - can lead to blindness if not treated - but very easily treated in the early stages. baby angel!	You may need glasses, staring at a computer for a long period of time can cause your eyes to flash. Another is you may be dehydrated, or have lack of iron in your blood. Princess	It is very possible for your eyes to be suffering migrains. My mom had this same sort of problem. She has glaucoma and had to have surgury for it ASAP. Go to your eye doctor as soon as can.
