go to the doctor and get some rest take cough medicine and don't worry about it to much another thing is that it might be allergies it probably is because at this time of year there are a lot of irratents going around
ask your doctor about it or just go to wallgreens and get clariten I would get Allegra if I could for a prescriprion because the only other good one is Zyrtec and it makes you drowsy

You can get past the symptoms but the cold itself will run it's course. Medications are a temp fix. The salt water gargle does help, as will most medications. Another trick is soaking a natural sponge in HOT water. In hale deepy into your lungs to help clear them out. This has been used for over a hundred yeas, by opera singers. Good luck!!!

Rest, liquids, cold meds. . . more rest. Try tea with honey and lemon for the throat. I'm a singer and that's what works for me!

There is no cure for the common cold but: You could take Echinacea, suck on Zinc lozenges and drink lots of orange juice. Chicken noodle soup is believed to be helpful. Rest and good luck or should I say break a leg.

First off, get lots of sleep. Using Claritin 24 Hour will make your runny nose and some other symptoms vanish, usually. It always works for me, and I work with kids. Claritin sometimes dries us out, so it's beneficial to drink plenty of water. Drink orange juice, too. But, your best bet is to see a doctor. Sometimes they have medicines that work best. Sometimes the herbs in Airborne can make a body feel worse. Get rid of the visible symptoms first, and do your performance.

THIS WORKS!- Go to the store and buy some of those AIRBORNE tablets that disolve in water. Drink one as soon as possible because the earlier you drink it the better chance of it working. It boosts up your immune system and cuts the time you have a cold in half. It has always worked for me, and I am usually skeptical about anything of that nature.

rest, (rest your voice too)-lots of fluids-chicken soup, water, tea with honey, and get some good medicine to manage your symptoms while you perform. try severe cold & cough capsules-ask the pharmacist at walmart for advice, and then take them about an hour before you go on. make sure you don't get the kind that can make you sleepy!
break a leg!

Zinc drops (available without a prescription) can shorten the length of your cold, but you need to take those at the early stages. The soar throat should go away within 2 days; however, your stuffy nose and cough will probably linger. The main thing is to stray hydrated and get plenty of sleep. Get a t-shirt and place it over your exposed neck at night to speed up the cough recovery (it will also help you rest better). You might need to rely on cough suppresants and decongestants on that day. Is there anyway you can incorporate the cold into your character?

Drink plenty of fluids and get plenty of rest before your performance. Sudafed, the long acting 12 hour kind, will relieve stuffiness and congestion. Depending on the time of your performance, take the Sudafed at least an hour before the performance, to make sure it's in your system. Don't exceed label dosage! Gargle with warm salt water, drink tea with honey.
You may want to make a trip to dr. just in case you have strep throat. No home remedies will cure strep, just antibiotics.
Get well soon and........Break a leg!
