Kazel	Yes. It has proven medicinal uses and causes less harm than drinking, smoking, and even over-eating! Weed has been demonized and looked down upon. So far there has been little to show that it causes any sort of central nervous system damage even though people have been yelling that it causes insanity for 70 years. Arrests for possession charges ruin the lives of thousands of great individuals every year. It costs us both in man power and tax money. It is a horrible law and should be removed. It will save moeny and lives. People will smoke weed no matter what you do, do what Amsterdam did and control it! It is not a "vice". It is not something that kills people. Intoxicated drivers kill many people each year but those drivers are drunk and NOT high. Anyone who has ever used the drug will tell you that you do not want to drive anywhere. As funny as it may be to some of you smoking marijuana discourages doing anything that will hurt another person. Leave god out of this, and not all natural plants are good, but know that marijuana is definitely not a bad thing! People call it a gateway drug but from much experience I have seen that people who smoke marijuana actually tried it after trying much more harmful and dangerous(and believe it or not, more legal) methods of getting high! I have never smoked marijuana and thought about buying crack just like I've never drank alcohol and thought about snorting coke or shooting up a store! Stop demonizing it and accept that it is not the horrible beast you have made it out to be. It doesn't consume people's souls or drive them mad. It has proven medical uses and causes less harm to the heart, brain, and liver then drinking. Marijuana laws cause MUCH more harm than good. WhereTheBuffaloRoam	I don't see much difference between it or booze. Booze gets people more trashed. Out in california there are like over 400 places to buy "medical marijuana". Very high grade stuff too. I seen it on 60 minutes. You can go in and tell the dr you have knee pain or something and he will write a prescription for it. It is a question of ethics and freedom as well as responcibility.... So in a word..... NO! add-on: people compare alcohol to weed, i think of it this way. you drink alcohol, a nature means of ingesting something and many types and forms of alcohol provides your system with nutrients and/or calories... natural. Weed is smoked, unnatural... what nutrients and/or calories can be consumed by inhaling burned leaves? so now people will say "So what?, you can drink antifreeze, is that natural??" Gary D	There's no reason to legalize it even for cancer or claucoma patients. There already exists a LEGAL version of the THC Pill available to them that does the same thing. It is available by prescription. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No
