I would see a doctor tonight. Ok, this could be a medical condition. But the good news that if it is, it is treatable. But if you can't go tonight, go tommorrow morning. Don't wait until your doctors appt. And skip class, it will only make you feel worse.
I hope you feel better.

Don't be too freaked out, I had a 95.5 for 3 years. I felt like crap the whole time too though. Get to the doctor and don't mention anxiety or depression. Eat better and get your iron checked and ask for an exercise stress test to check your heart.

You mentioned getting your Thyroid levels checked - do you take Synthroid for hyper or hypo thyroidism? I had a horrible time with my hyperthyroidism/Graves and it was responsibly for so many different symptoms/illnesses. I would suggest call your doctor's office and just tell them you want to come in as a "walk in". You usually don't have to wait that long. Good luck / feel better.

A low body temp can be a sign of a viral infection, also it can be a sign that your body isnt fighting like it should you should go in right away, if you feel so ill.

If your fever goes above 104, go to the ER asap.
I think it sounds like a virus, but I am not a doctor.
As for the depression meds, they don't usually cause
a low grade fever, BUT, sometimes drug interactions
can occur. Are you taking anything else? Any herbal
remedies? Call your doctor's nurse, expain the situation
to her and ask whether she feels you should come in.
Otherwise, drink lots of fluids water, tea, ect. and rest.
You should skip class and relax. Hope you feel better

I suggest that you do not go to school tomorrow, and go to a walk-in clinic or the ER. Having a low body temperature is really serious. Also, since you mentioned that you had to get your Thyroid level checked, I read this article and it mentioned that low Thyroid levels can cause symptoms of low body temperature, fatigue, weakness, intolerance to cold, depression, and memory problems. I'm not suggesting that you have hypothyroidism because I'm not a doctor. Or maybe you're medications are causing the symptoms. I suggest that you go to a doctor, especially if you feel worse tomorrow.
I hope you feel better.

Dang, you are a mess...
Drink some seaweed chicken soup and stop being so anxious and depressed. It sounds like you are severely dehydrated and have an electrolyte imbalance as well. You need water, some salt, meat protein, and sugars. You also need to get away from the computer for a while - sit in a dark room and listen to some relaxing music.
In the meantime - after you eat something, see if you feel better or not. If you do NOT feel better, find a walk in clinic immediately - you have a serious viral infection that is so bad your body cannot even respond to it properly.
Thirdly - if you have any uncontrollable shaking or spasms at all right now - after eating something real quick - call 911 and ask them to come pick you up and bring you someplace to treat you - you need it immediately.
Anyway, I hope it is NOT as serious to either cause you to need to call 911 immediately NOR as serious as having to visit a doctor right away... Hopefully it is just dehydration and nerves...

The other day u were sweating too, something is definitely going on. Sounds like a virus but can be anything. Just take your prescribed medicine. If your medicine was recently changed and this started happening right after the change do what you were doing before. Have someone get you Gatorade, OJ, chicken noodle soup, and a Multivitamin (GNC is good), yes it really helps, LOTS of liquids, dress lightly. Also rest! and do not worry about class, you are more important. I would try to do just that until Friday and keep an eye on your temp. You can also call and ask your Doctors nurse on what to do. If things get out of hand just go to the emergency room. I was ill for 2 weeks and I did what I told you and started getting better right away. I was very hot, weak, ear ache, bladder infection, sore throat, it was a virus the doctor said. Hope you feel better soon :)

Go to the ER or a clinic now!
It sounds like you maybe having a vagal reaction I had my first in June and honestly I didn't think much of it I got up and was almost ready for work when I puked and then passed out...I just called into work and went back to bed and called dr later who sent me straight to ER I had thought it wasn't really anything....but I Vagal (or however its spelled) reaction can be serious...your blood pressure drops so does your heart rate and yeah I just felt like I had a cold or some minor illness....except I was burning up I felt like my body was just going to explode yet I wasn't sweating or anything...also my temp was low 95.9 its normally around 97.3 I always have a low blood pressure and fairly normal or fast heart beat but when I got to hospital I had a really low blood pressure and low heart beat. The ran EKG and other stuff like that just to be on the safe side....so don't freak out if that happens...and good luck....and as I said don't wait GO NOW!

Might you be dehydrated too? I would drink a bunch of water to see if it helps a bit. I think you should take it easy until you feel better. I would call your doctor or pharmacist about any side effects of your meds though.

Ok, some anti-depressants can cause hyporthermia, as well as hypothyroidism.
I don't know about the firepit feeling though. Are you sweaty and cold an clammy. If so you may want to seriously consider a ride to the ER.
Don't go to school tomorrow.
Good Luck

95.5 is low it should be about 97/98. You should get a lot of rest and don't go to class tomorrow. Going to the doctors as soon as you can is a good idea too.

Normal temperature is 98.6. Make sure your themometer is working properly. You may just have a virus. They can hang on for about 7 days. The first five being the worse. Drink plenty of fluids. Don't go to class feeling sick. What good will it do you? You will probably pass your illness on to others too. Do everyone a favor and skip class. Stay in bed. Did I mention drink lots of fluids?
Report your suspicions about your medication to the doctor when you go on Friday. If your symptoms don't worsen you can probably save yourself the extra money and discomfort of going now.
REST AND DRINK FLUIDS! Hope you feel better soon.

It sounds like your body is having a hard time maintaining your temp. I would go see a doctor because of your heart issues and that you have been feeling bad since last Thursday. A virus usually runs its course within 48-72 hours and you are well beyond that. It could be the onset of an infection or the flu.

I think you might be having a reaction to one of your meds. I would call your pharmacist to see if you symptoms match with any of your meds side effects. Also, ask what he/she thinks of your 95.5 temp. He or she can then advise you where to go next.
Good Luck and I hope you feel better soon.

well first off i wonder why you are having your Thyroid checked? if your blood levels have been a little off and they are rechecking them, this could explain the low temp. most of the time your temp is lower in the am than it is in the afternoon. also if you have been fighting something your white blood cells could be low from being used up and this could also alter your temp. i read some of the other answers and you are not on your last leg. if it was meningtis you would have high fevers and neck pain. also medication does not lower your temp, but it could cause leukopenia which is a decrease in your white blood cells, which can as i said before lower your white blood cells. take the day off, rest, drink plenty of fluids and keep your md appt for friday. try not to dwell on things too much as this can cause alot more anxiety. good luck

Go to the doctor!
Sooner than later, thyriod condition can put stress on the heart, as it causes hypertension, if you already have a thyriod conditon, you should definitely go in immediately, and check your levels.
Thyriods can leave you energy very low, but the Dr. can give you medicine to bring your pressure bck to normal.
