Lots of water. Also, if you are nauseous, try some ginger Root. The best thing I know to make you feel better is: drop ten drops of pure Peppermint extract into 8oz. of warm top hot water. Repeat as many times as you want.

hi, first you need to make sure you do not get dehydrated. If you continue to throw up for more than 12 hrs. I would go see your doctor. You could try saltine crackers. Also, try taking a bath or shower. they make a suppository for throwing up. You could try pep-to?(not sure how to spell) I just got over the flu myself, and that is what I had to do. The suppository is a great choice because it is not something you have to put down your stomach. Could you be pregnant? hope you feel better.

Sorry. This really sucks. If you have bad food poisoning, you have to wait it out a bit. Try to rest as much as you can. Don't spend time on the computer. Lie down.
Stuff that can be easy on the stomach: toast, chicken broth/soup. Don't use ice if you drink soda, I think it could make you get sick again.
Get off the computer, girl. Get better.

Soda is the worst thing to drink when your sick. Just get a little bit of clear liquid and drink a little at a time till you can hold it down. Just really sleep it off and let it runs its course.

This sounds strange, but I've found it works pretty well. You need to get a Coke, open it, and let it sit for a while so that it loses it's carbonation and becomes warm. I know it sounds strange but for some unexplained reason it calms an upset stomach.

If you have one, slice an orange, and just smell it. It can help with nausea.
Ground Ginger. Just place a speck on your tongue and let it dissolve.
Hot tea, nothing added.
Boiled potato later maybe with a bit of salt.
Prop yourself up a bit while laying down.
Hope this helps.

Flat Coke should help. Or go to the drugstore and get Emetrol (I think that's what it is) and it will stop the nausea and throwing up. Good luck!

I would suggest sleeping it off, if you aren't tired then take some tynol pm and hopefully it will kick in before you get sick again. Nothing ever works for me so I just take a nice long nap and wake up and take a shower. Make sure you use extra blankets so that you sweat it out.

make some jello if you can, you may not want it now, but perhaps later it will sound good, and it takes a while to set. try going to sleep. maybe take a shower or a bath, that always helped me. if you can stomach a little crackers try to get something in your tummy, then you might not feel so sick. try a little sprite or gingerale, but only a couple sips, and dont drink water(or at least not a lot) or make yourself throw up so you feel better. i hope you feel better, there is nothing worse than throwing up in my book.

Sorry to have to say this, but soft drinks are about the worst thing you can take when you're throwing up.
What you should do mostly depends on why you're sick. If it's food poisoning, it should stop in a few hours (although those hours may feel like centuries to you), and until then there's not much you can do about it. If it's a biological disease, on the other hand, which is less likely, it may not go away so soon and it might be a good idea to get medical help.

Ugh.
Not much to do but keep sipping clear liquids. Flat soda. Gatorade or other sports drinks are best. Room temp, not cold, or they will make you cramp more.
They'll come back up for a while, but just sip a little to keep yourself from drying out too bad.

Boil some popped rice (not puffed) and drink that water several times This will stop the vomiting. some indian stores sell them or you can make them yourself. Soak and wash the rice and drain. Then put it in a dry hot skillet and keep on moving it around using a wooden spoon. When it starts to pop watch out and can reduce the fire little bit and be careful not to burn. when majority of the rice is popped, you can take it out and boil it with water and drink.

Depends on why you are throwing up?
If it is due to a virus or something of that nature? There are suppositories you can get that stop vomiting. But I don;t suggest it because vomiting is your bodies way of cleaning itself out.
You do however have to watch for dehydration.
The suppositories are called Phenergan. Ask your doctor as they are not available over the counter.

Do you know why you are feeling crap?
I often find Lucozade (but no other fizzy drinks) and rich tea biscuits help. Also, sometimes only milk will stay down and keep me going.
Feel better soon!

Try Gatorade, ice chips, or plain water, anything to keep you hydrated. There is over the counter nausea medicine you can buy as well. Just try and get as much rest as you can. Maybe eat some crackers or chicken noodle soup. Hope you feel better.

Have you tried Emetrol? It's a medicine, but it's specifically for nausea. If you sip on it for a little bit, you should feel 100% better. Otherwise, Ginger often helps as well. You can get that in the form of Ginger tablets, Ginger tea and (always a favorite), Ginger ale. Good luck!
