I'm a 16 year old coffee addict?
This is starting to be a problem..every morning when I wake up I need my starbucks!!! Do you think I;m addicted? If so...How can I stop this. If I usually don't have it in the morning I'll be really lazy and drowsy and just not as perky as usual...do u think im too addicted or its fine? the most ive had is 3 coffeees a day...i don't really kno if thats addicted or not....but i have to have one in the morning...

Caffeine isn't an addictive drug. Most adults need coffee in the morning to start off their day and give them energy. But if you're concerned about health or money, just cut back on ONE coffee per week... for example, now you drink three coffees a day, so next week only drink two coffees a day, and the next week drink one coffee a day, ect. But, again, caffeine isn't addictive so you don't have anything to worry about. Hope this helped!

IF YOU ABSOLUTELY need one.

Its okay to be addicted to coffee. youll just stain your teeth yellow, so i suggest you start using those whitening strips and bleaching your teeth. By the way, its not a disease to like coffee.

You aren't addicted until you drive to Starbuck's in the middle of the night. At that point, you definitely need to go to a caffeine rehab center. Where they give you some sort of decaf coffee that tastes like shoes ;-P

Don't worry i used to be addicted to coffee and i said to myself that every morning when i wake up if i had a cup of coffee i would owe my brother (or sister if u have one.) 5 bucks! After a while it worked and i decided to only have coffee like once a week. I hope that helped!

I love coffee im 15 i drink 2 and a half cups it good i have one in the moring one berfore lunch and a half a cup at night so i can sleep

Yes this is somewhat of a problem. If you want to quit the habbit, then slowly ease yourself off of coffee. drink less and less each week and set small goals for yourself. maybe try Green Tea?

Well for only being 16 it is not good for your matabolism. I have been in and out of the hospital for anorexia and all i used to drink was coffee. My doctor said that it can make your matabolism fast now, but when you get older your matabolism will slow really irregular. So try and stop drinking so much caffeine. It will make you fat in the future. I think it can most definatly be a addiction. I think you should take a super B vitamin. After a while of taking the vitamin everyday it will give you natural energy and help your matabolism burn off the food you ate and use it as energy. I live for the super B vitamin. Plus you need at least 10hours of sleep a night. Thats said for every teen ager.

your body will crave the caffeine and sugar around a similar time each day, especially if it's first thing in the mornings. your not "addicted" but you will find the craving will most likely go away if you force yourself to have something else to drink other than coffee. Try coke or Tea 2moro, then juice or something for the next 2-3days after that, and see how you feel. you WILL feel tired and lotharic for a couple of days, but only for the morning. hope that helps.

I had high blood pressure and the doctor told me to cut out caffiene, I had about 5 cups a day, and cut it out totally the next day. it's difficult for a couple of days but ur body/mind gets used to it soon, and you will feel much better without it. if it's just the taste you like, then try Caffiene-free?

Yeah, coffee addiction, definitely. I also have had it since a high school student. Do not worry about it cuz we need to wake up with caffeine!! I drink more than 7 cups, 2 of them are Starbucks' venti per a day, n lately I changed straight coffee to cafe with milk. I guess it is better for my stomach.

i definitely think you're addicted.
switch to decaf coffee first and drink less and less each day.
if you go off of it all at one time, you'll go insane.
transition into something a bit healthier to start your day, like an apple, which is also energizing like caffeine.
drink fruit juices and have cereals to start your day.

you're 16 and you have the money to be spending on- of all things- starbucks every morning? lol. good job.

think of how yellow your teeth are going to be in a few years.

try decaf. then slowly wean your self off of it. if you eat balanced meals and exercise regularly there will be no need to use the caffeine for energy.

you are in fact addicted. caffiene is the most addicting drug on the market believe it or not. according to a lot of resources. look it up. your teeth will turn yellow as you get older if you keep doing this and your breath will stink. it is really a bad habit... stop doing it now because it is just as expensive as cigarettes and later when you quit you will be a total beeotch to deal with. it has adverse effects in all reality.

U should try not to be in need of coffee all the time. Maybe you should try to switch to chocolate or something. there's something in coffee that leeches the Calcium out of your bones.

Yes ur addicted.. Drink something else like OJ. i use to be an addict to, but now i drink OJ. umm coffee is also good for u, eventhough it may give u a future heart attack or inc. blood pressure, recent research has found that people drink coffee are less likely to get cancer. But who cares just try OJ it has way more benefits and you can never drink too much! I am OJ addict loll.

Stop with the Coffeyy right now. Coffe is a really bad addiction because it can lead to your heart stopping and much worse. in order to stop this. try to drink De caff coffe in stead.
