Horribly sick, after overdosing on advil.?

i took about 30 pills yesterday, and threw about half of them up. i woke up this morning at 4 30, and threw up for at least 30 minutes. since i had already thrown up most of my food yesterday, it was mostly just liquid. since then, i've been throwing up every hour or so. i have developed red spots around my eyes. i dont know whats happening.. someone help please.

Jenny	Well.... the red spots around your eyes are from the pressure of you throwing up, you popped some blood vessels. You aren't supposed to take anymore then 2 Advils in a four hour period... 30 is WAY too many in one day. Too many Advil causes ulcers in your stomach lining. Your body rejected them because you overdosed and are poisoning your body.

Man I'm Pretty.	That was very stupid! I suggest you go to the doctors or else this may be a sign of very severe illness or even death.

Bela	You have overdosed on Ibuprofen. I would seek medical attention. Liver failure feels a lot like the stomach flu with violent cramping and vomiting. It will only get worse if you do not ingest some liquid Activated Charcoal, or some other toxin neutralizer. Go to the hospital. And possibly seek psychological help.

your best friend	are you serious? did you try to kill yourself? go to the ***** hospital dude. if you don't want to go under suicide watch or some **, then i'd suggest making up a good excuse. also don't drink or eat anything, because it could set off any pills that you haven't already thrown up, which would obviously be bad. at this point you don't need to get your stomach pumped or anything, but you'll probably have IVs in your arms. it won't be that bad, but they need to watch you for a day or so to make sure nothing else goes wrong, because a lot of the time overdosing can be a slow, painful experience.

Gabby	well first of all why did u take 30 pills? thats crazy and can kill you. if u already knew this then im guessing ur were trying to kill yourself. the reason why u throwing up is because u took to many pills and the medicine in it can make u sick. the best thing to do is tell your doctor everything that happened. u can trust them. go call your doctor right now if u dont want things to get worse. trust me. hope you get better

gallaxynurse	the red spots are from the vomiting. bursts your capillaries. the red spots are not what you need to worry about. Advil (Ibuprofen) can do a lot of damage. and with all the vomiting, you are most likely dehydrated. need to get to a dr. also need to talk to someone about why you took so many pills.

slushpile reader	firstly, its Asprin not Advil if you're trying of "off" yourself. The whole reason it works is because asprin thins your blood, an overdose would thin it to the point where it can't carry oxygen to needed organs, including brain, heart & lungs. Secondly, seek medical attention, then mental attention. I lost a very special person to suicide and I have no tolerance for it. Its stupid, selfish, and self indulgent. I hope you realize the pain you inflict is not just upon yourself.

charlie	You answered your own question. You overdosed. Go to the hospital and get checked out, it can cause internal bleeding that you might not even know about as well as other things. You may need your stomach pumped. P.S. Don't do it again. P.P.S. Don't not go to the hospital just because you don't want to or you are afraid, either, because you may have caused serious long-term damage that you might not even find out about until 10+ years from now.
