soulsurfer	Not at all - buying condoms shows that you are mature enough and responsible enough to care about yourself and your partner. MOUTHY	Dont listen to the people that are just plain rude telling you to grow up. Yes it is embarassing for alot of people, but as someone already mentioned... "buy them online". You could even go to your local health clinic and get them there for free. missluly	OH YES.... I am nearly 30 and I came off the pill to clear my system before we tried for a baby, so we had to use condoms. I went sooooooo red in the supermarket & I'd hide them understuff in my basket. I don't know why it is so embarrasing as it proves you are being sensible and taking responsibility. commentator	Yes but i learned to get over it after one particular incident. I 17 at the time ( some 25 years ago ) I was being very grown grown up and went into my local chemist and placed a pack of condoms on the counter at which point the lady serving me decided to have alaugh at my expense and announced to everyone in the shop ( maybe 6 other woman customers and staff alike) that this young man was planning abig night out. She went on to say are you sure one packet of three is going to be enough- Ha ha ha. I looked her straight in the eye and said as loudly as she had spoken yes you are right let me have another packet at which point everyone in the shop laughed. I paid my money walked about three paces towards the door with snigger's ringing in my ear turned back and very loudly said to the woman in the shop. TELL YOUR DAUGHTER I WILL PICK HER UP AT 7 At which point everybody laughed loudly ( but not at me) I had become a real man.
