Cindy/aka/Kelly	I can understand that totally. I love all animals I feel a terrible rage inside when I hear of anyone hurting a defenceless animal. Don't get me wrong I hate violence, but i could quite easily blow my top when I hear of anything like that. To me they are all that's good in the world. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

NightOwl	I feel more strongly about animals then people because its us that cause them suffering, they cant help themselves... I watched a Peta video today about how animals are treated before&during slaughter&seriously it nearly made me cry I have no problem with ppl eating meat but if only they knew how cruel it is,the same goes for animal testing it really is disgusting animal cruelty in any shape or form is wrong they're aware&feel pain just as we do, i agree completely with your point Was this answer helpful to you? falk	animals. because too often, their misfortunes are a direct result of human malice. human misfortune is, 9 times out of 10, self-inflicted misery. poverty & destitution can, mostly, be risen above if the poor & destitute get off their lazy backsides & earn their keep. pain & anguish is chosen. the battered wife who will not leave her abusive husband. the drug"victim" who chose to inject poison or not to pay the dealer. human society, as a whole, for allowing this, that or the other criminal vermin to live & thrive, rather than swing at the end of a rope where they belong. animals have no inherent badness. they do what they must to survive. humans (in some cases) inflict or choose to suffer pain/misery for greed, laziness, malice, envy & a host of other evils. i'll trust to beasts every time. animal abusers should be nailed to trees & baited with dogs before being buried alive. safcian	animals, they dont kick you in the teeth or rip you off. they give unconditional love and expect so little in return. dogs, for example are a damn sight more loyal than any human i ever met, and they will defend you with their own life against much bigger odds. i hate people. st.abbs	For me Animals everytime, they are loyal, faithful and won't bite the hand that feeds them, unlike a lot of so called humans. The only way an animal would kill or bite is either through hunger or because they have been beaten or trained by humans. To call a human an animal is insulting the animal. Ghost	I completely prefer animals!! I'm like you, I could see a human (other than those directly in my life that I love) hurt a million times and it wouldn't bother me nearly as much as seeing some poor animal get hurt. I see the big difference as that animals are innocents. They never inflict harm just for harm's sake nor pain for pain's sake. They only hurt other animals for survival or for procreation of their species. We humans inflict pain and suffering, KNOWING it is pain and suffering on every living being we can. I agree also that the one exception is the horror inflicted on the Jews, gypsies, gays and others in WWII. If you think the dolphin issue is bad, check out the links I provide in my source notations. Watch some of the videos and look at the pictures. If you do not recoil in horror, you have no soul. (not referring to the original question poster since that person obviously does!!) The human species totally sucks and I wish we ALL (yes, including me and my family) would be erradicated from this world so that the animals could live in peace. We may SUPPOSEDLY be more "intelligent" than other animal species, but EVERY OTHER species has us beat in terms of morality! The other species are better than we can ever hope to be because our smug assumption of "superiority" constantly proves otherwise. I personally love all these big, "brave" men (and a few women) who think they're hot sh*t because they can kill an animal with a weapon. But, gee, they aren't so great without that weapon, are they? Boy, howdy, you picked a subject near and dear to me! I could go on for hours and hours and list hundreds of sites to prove my point. Just go on youtube and look for vivisection or fur or dog meat or seal hunt or any other thing and it will prove my point. But most won't because it "offends their sensibilities" so they'll turn a blind eye and pretend this doesn't occur instead of fighting it. Go ahead....watch....I DARE you!! Lalalala	I kind of have to agree with you...I guess it's because we don't really make a personal opinion of an animal. We either like them or we don't. People on the other hand can respond to your actions, comments etc in a communicative way allowing us to make judgements about them. You're never going to have a cat or dog argue with you, regularly irritate you...on the whole animals are silent (yes I know they make noises, can bite etc)...but I think you get the jist of what I am saying. I was far more upset when my cat died and sounds silly but I felt more affection from my cat in the 10 years i had it than from when one of my nan's died. So of course i care about my mum, dad, brother and some other relatives and friends more than animals....but on the whole I like animals better. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

rrrraaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh	I agree with you.....animals as seen by most are unfortunately inferior to us and it so happens that weak, sick, fukced up people in our society that have no life or no control over their own lives chose to torture animals to get their kicks. It psses me off! I nearly joined the RSPCA but declined at the last minute as I knew that I would end up kicking the sht out of someone for being such total weak b*stards. pink-star	animals for sure. especially dogs. my dog shows me 100% affection all the time and i know that he means it and there isn't a hidden agenda behind the affection unlike most people nice to your face then slag you of behind your back in definitely an animal person. monkeymanelvis	Have you seen the film "Roger and Me"? That film has a bit where a black guy is shot and in the next scene a rabbit is butchered. The director has had hundreds of people complain to him about the rabbit but he says that nobody has ever mentioned the black guy being shot as being shocking in any way. It seems strange to me that a lot of people seem to think it is more acceptable to kill animals than people but are willing to watch people die and not animals. I guess I just don't understand people. Personally I think killing any living creature is wrong unless you are killing out of pure necessity. I have been a vegetarian since I was in high school and I am very much against war. fijibabie	Yeah I am the same - I hate seeing animals in distress and it really upsets me. However it would also upset me seeing a human in distress, particularly a child. I think this is because humans have more of an understanding of what is happening to them and animals just don't know and it must be incredibly frightening to them. I am not trying to say that humans do not suffer as much or are less frightened than animals, they just have more understanding of what is going on. Also, usually humans are the instigators of animal cruelty. It makes me sick that humans can be so cruel. How often do you see animals beating up, starving or just being downright cruel to humans?? the hater	I have to say that I prefer animals than humans any day. I like all animals and to be honest I cry when I watch wildlife programmes on telly, I know it is only nature and animals have to eat but it saddens me so much for a animal to die. I love dogs and have 2 and they respect me and I respect them. The reason I love them so much is because they never use or abuse me, they never criticise me they never threaten me or shout at me, they sit there and listen to me, I know what they want with the signs they give me, they try to make me better if I am upset and they will protect me with their lives. echo	At 3.15 pm today had my best friensd put to sleep.He was 16 yrs old & had listened to put up with genral human crap. He was good fun had a good Sense of humor [ if it meant I'm going to bugger of off let her find me cos whan she does she will feed me] I do not feel a lot of symapthy with those in the 1st or 2nd world [ Where does 3rd world come from] If its a natural disaster then yes I feel for them. All of human crap is caused by some other human piece of crap. Look at religion,land,money & other such B......ks Kids & animals ask for nothing but love & regular food.
