Well, im no doctor, but i think you should lay off the drugs/smoking and the alchohol/coffee. The after affects of all of those habits can make a person very anxious and uneasy, which is probably contributing to the shaking. If exercising makes it worse, then i think you should just start out slow and work your way up. Sometimes overduing it can make things worse. Start off by cutting down on those habits but don't try to do it all at once. Set small realistic goals for yourself each week. For example if you normally have 5 cups of coffee a day, try only having 1 or 2 and replacing the other 3 cups with a healthy class of juice or water. If you keep making subtle changes like that, before you know it you'll be kicking all of your bad habits, which will lead to a much healthier lifestyle. I also think u should talk to your doctor and see what he/she recommends and maybe even have a few tests done just to rule some other likely causes out. Anyways, good luck:)

depends on how shaky, so bad you can't hold something?? If so, go to the doctor. I wouldn't so quickly jump to such a life changing experience. Although, cutting back on the drinking couldn't hurt anything. And eating a little healthier couldn't hurt. And quieting smoking couldn't hurt, LOL. Like you said easier said then done.

Tremors
muscle spasms
If it gets so bad that it interups your life, then you will need to get on some meds and get yourself checked for Parkinson's. Double check your family history for the disease.

haha yeah the drinking coffee and lack of exercise and eating healthy could do it. As for smoking it only effects your brain cells and lungs. Drinking might need to be eliminated. See a doctor. Parkinson's i dont think is hereditary... my grandma had it and no history otherwise.

well stop smoking and eat well, exercise is going to make it worse, muscular people tend to shake a lot more than skinny in shape people, drinking coffee a lot will make it bad but only in the morning wont do anything, alcohol has lots of sugar so that will also make it worse. so i guess just stick to that and your good.

I've got to be honest with you, many people shake and have no real reason as to why. I am healthy in all aspects and my hands still shake.

I think you are having a withdrawal problem from one or more of your habits. Cut out the smoking, cut back on the drinking, start drinking decaf and eat 3 meals a day--cereal and juice for breakfast, a sandwich, apple and carrots for lunch, some kind of meat, potatoes/pasta, and vegetable for dinner. Drink 3 glasses of milk a day. Learn how to shop and cook.

This is a disorder that my girlfriend has dealt with for years. She has gone to the doctor to get it checked out to see if there is a solution, they never gave her anything concrete. It may not be the same thing as her but I'd just ask your doctor. I doubt it has anything to do with smoking or drinking.

ya id say it has alot to do with lifestyle. an old friend of mine was a very shaky person. he smoked drank and was always popping Vicodin like candy. his hands shook more than screen door in a wind storm. I'm not saying you should quit all together but cut back and find a happy medium that better suits your comfort level.

I would be willing to bet that your problem is blood sugar related. I highly doubt that it is Parkinsons, you are 21. You could very well have a blood sugar problem, not diabetes, but likely hypoglycemic, or hyperglycemic. You could buy a blood sugar meter at walmart for under 50 dollar or go to the hospital for a test (might not be a good idea because of the weed)
