poor circulation. You probably just slept crooked and squashed a nerve in your arm. try shaking your hands every few minutes until it goes away

Does this happen often and do you have a job that requires repetitive motion? Not to get you in a hypochondria mode, but you could have early signs of reptetive stress disorder (carpal tunnel). Or it could just you slept on it wrong and cut off circulation for too long. Just massage your wrist and forarms to try and promote blood flow. If you are real worried then see a doctor.

If you just woke up, then you're blood is probably not circulating correctly. You were probably sleeping on your hand or something. Just open and close your hand repetedly until you work the blood back into your hand. If it lasts for more then 1 hour, you should call the Dr. It's a sign of diabetes.

Depends on how long you've been up and how often this happens. If it is a re-occurring problem I would go see a doctor because you could have carpal tunnel syndrome or just poor circulation due to a blood clot.

you probably slept on your hand and it fell asleep for a long period of time and you never awoke to correct it during the night. I would just give it awhile and it will probably go away.

It might be a pinched nerve...if you also woke up with neck pain you should take some muscle relaxers that should help if not go to your doctor.

Could be that they are frozen in time. Do you work with any guys named 'doc' or drive a Delorean?
Yea, it could be squashed nerves. Either way you're going to need 1.21 Gigawatts to fix things.
