do you like to read? some people say that if you dont like reading so much, and you cant sleep, you should read, becuase then you will get bored and fall asleep.

well what i do is watch tv to fall asleep because due to that looking at a TV for a wile my eyes fill like numb and just close or you can take night medicine if old enough that helps you fall asleep also oh and eating makes you sleepy but i wouldnt recomend that

1. You are probably not tired enough during the day.
2. You are very stressed.
Try this. go workout for 2 hours straight. Come home clean your room. Shower and drink some water and do some homework.
You'll sleep 8 hours easy and it wont be enough!

I've been through the same thing and the best thing i did was i got sleeping pills to regulate my sleeping pattern. when you take them for about a month regularly, your body learns when it's time to go to sleep.
fresh air and exercise help too

I have horrible insomnia. Are you dealing with more stress than usual? It is so hard on a person when we cannot sleep. I think that there are a lot of good herbal remedies that are completely safe. http://www.womans-health.net/InsomniaHerbalRemedy/howitworks.php

take a long hot bath, wrap up in a warm blanket drinking a warm glass of milk and read a book....and take a avail Tylenol PM that should do it.

I would go to a doctor if I were you. It seems that more and more people are having trouble sleeping these days and are taking prescripiton medications for it ( which are very risky as we have seen in recent news) So maybe your doctor will say there's something wrong in what you are doing everyday that effect the way you sleep. Also don't be afraid to get a second opinion from another doctor.

For me cold water bath makes me fully sleep. This is like a miracle. If you wish to do that then just before you go to bed take cold water bath, That fast blood circulation in whole body. So you feel to sleep.

ask your self is something bugging you . some times when we cant fall asleep its because we have something on are mind. if that's not it . it could be your diet or to much caffeine. so i think you should try this no food or drink after 6/7.I'm thinking your under some stress .and that in its self is a big cause for not being able to sleep. i am sorry i cant help you anymore .but i have the same thing but for 15 years started in the 9 th grade from stress. so if this stays around go to a doctor please.

Is your house to cold or to hot? That could have something to do with it. Or maybe your hungry or thirsty and just dont know it. It sounds funny but those things have a real big affect on sleep sometimes. Even if you think you ate or drank plenty maybe you didnt or could be that you didnt eat a "real" meal. That could be the reason for the stamich pain too. It could be a lot of things try taking care of those things first but if it dosent work maybe you have too much on your mind. If you find yourself waking thinking alot about other things then you could try writing in a notebook before going to bed to try and clear your mind. It will help clear your thoughts, tire you out, and help you to relax. Good Luck.

well your really too young to have these problems are you working strange hours? the only advice i have is a good book or sleeping pills but see a doctor first

Have you tried any bedtime teas or anything? Those can sooth your stomach possibly too.
Beyond that you might want to think about getting a rx for a sleeping aid

1) count from one to hundred
2) put stuff on ur eyes so that u can't see ( I forgot how they are called so I used 'stuff' )
3) try the medicine that makes u go sleep( they are in rite aids but again,forgot how its called)
4) stay in the dark
Those are the ways that I do normal days
but if u can't sleep well when u tried 1,2,4, then try 3.
that will definately WORK!!

well if you are tired and can go to sleep just not stay asleep then you could have sleep apnea and might need a c-pap machine

The problem isn't what you're doing at night, but what you're doing during the day.
Exercise too late in the day will awaken your body, and stress during the day will get you ever time.
Relaxation tapes (try a few, and find the least distracting voice) and an open mind that they will work, they will work, they WILL work, will give you a great placebo effect and always help me get to sleep. Flip your mattress and buy new pillows while you're at it.

Lie in bed and start singing until your tired of hearing yourself sing, but don't wake your mom up. I know it sounds stupid, but it's worth a try. I didn't get to bed until 2 something sat morning and slept until about 3 in the afternoon. I am still awake now and have to get up for work early sun morning. I have lied in bed before just singing anything to try and fall asleep. Good luck.

Have you heard of Jesus pray to Jesus and ask him to give you the ability to have a sleepfull night in the name of Jesus. But before you do this if you do not know Jesus you must ask Jesus to come into youre heart and ask for forgiveness. when you do this with faith heart all thinks asked of will be given to you as the father"s word promised.

I have had insomnia for several years. Read a book or get on the computer and play a card game. This usually helps me. Also, no caffeine after 3 p.m. Hope this helps. Good night!!!!

You know, everyone goes through times like this. my dad actually went to a pshyciatrist to get sleeping medicine, so dont worry cuz if worse comes to worst you can take that. make sure you tell your parents etc. but the only reasons i can think why is one, you're going through your first, second or w/e period and that's why you're having cramps too. or two, you're anorexic like i was and i couldn't sleep cuz all i thought about was my stomach growling. one good thing before you go to bed is take a warm shower or drink hot tea bcuz that will make you comfortable so you can go to bed. Good Luck!

Yeah Been there done that. I drink too much coffee and finally I can't sleep at all, It's like "I can't sleep" But when morning comes it's " I can't wake up!" lol It's just crazy! Heh, what works for me is trying to do my homework!! I will go right to bed.
