billp_seattle	I have 16 years on dialysis - I know you'd rather not need dialysis but from my experience it isn't because of dialysis per se but rather it's because of the burden of dialysis and the negative symptoms that come with three day a week incenter dialysis that you're asking for a miracle. There is another way to decrease the dialysis burden - dialyze more. I know it sounds crazy but if you were able to dialyze at home, at night for eight hours, you'd find that dialysis goes from being an ordeal to being an inconvenience. And yes many people who have made the switch to nocturnal dialysis at home report that they have their life back.
