I think this is the 5th time I've answered this question in as many months!
Brown paper, medium warm iron, keep moving paper until all wax melted and absorbed.
This answer has to be in the archives dozens of times?

There is only one way no get candle wax of of your carpet that I know of. You pull it od with a dap clot while rubbing ice on it one and then the other. after that you vaccume it alot.(when it's dry) and rub it with a dry towel every so often before the vaccumeing and eventualy it will be gone.

Let the wax harden, then scrap off the excess with a dull knife.
Place part of a paper bag, a sheet of newspaper, paper towels, or a clean cloth over the wax.
Using a warm iron, press gently on the paper bag. Be careful not to leave the iron in one place too long or you may burn the carpet fibers.
Voila! The paper bag will soak up the melted wax.

what is the carpet made of? if it's a natural fibre like wool, then put newspaper over the wax and then an iron, the wax will soak into the paper, if it's man made fibre the heat of an iron might melt the carpet, so you will have to try and pick of the wax once it's set.

put some paper towel over the wax, then use a hot iron over the top of it. may take a couple of times to work, don't keep the iron on it for too long

Freeze and Iron it out.
Use an icecube wrapped in plastic and rub over the wax stain then scrape off as much as possible. Use a couple of sheets of kitchen towel, place over the remaining wax and rub gently with a warm iron. It will be absorbed by the towel!
Take care not to have the iron too hot or let it touch the carpet if it's nylon.

Put some brown paper over the top of it and then using a hot iron melt the wax and the paper will soak up the wax. Or use ice cubes to freeze the wax and then scrape it off using a knife.
Good luck!

Try placing a few sheets of newspaper over the wax and iron with a warm iron. Newspaper should absorb the wax. Not sure with a white carpet though!
