Try eating some Celery every day. I used to get heartburn alot with my second daughter and was told about that I thought they were crazy at the time but it works! You can put peanut butter or cream cheese on it or just eat it plain. Good luck and congrats

Steamed rice or sticky rice can be filling for some people. Milk definitely won't help, though. Milk tends to curdle in the stomach, and can make indegestion or nausea worse. The occasional Pepto-Bismol might do the trick along with a average sized meal, but keep the meal starchy (bread products, rice products, noodles, etc.)

You should call your Dr.! It's not good to even take Tums without his knowledge. You don't want to take anything that could harm your baby!

whole milk or plain sliced bread
avoid soft drinks, oreos, and Peppermint
these things cause it to be worse during pregnancy ( I know I have 4 year old twins and a 7 year old and same thing happened to me)

crackers, bananas, rice, potatoes, toast....essentially anything that is kind of plain so your stomach doesn't get upset
milk helps to coat your stomach so that is good to drink

Unsalted crackers usually work or vitamin B. NEVER take any medication, over the counter or herbal without talking to your OB/GYN or midwife first!!! As innocent as these things are normally, your system is undergoing changes and ordinary things can hurt you and/or your baby.
