I think you just need to find your motivation, the thing is only you can get yourself up off your backside, nobody can do it for you...just give yourself a starting point and work yourself up to the point, so you have a at least a goal of where your gonna start, and go from there.......

Oddly enough the cure for laziness is to get moving. It truly is a matter of making up your mind to do something as simple as take a walk. A love interest can be a good motivator as well.

I suppose the very thought that you see yourself as lazy and are ,fed up with it is a starting point.
You obviously want more out of life, but you say you are to lazy to get a pro-pper job.
So,what do yo see yourself doing with the rest of your life?
O.K. lets pretend the Doctor has given you 18 mths to live.
How would you feel?are there things you wish you had done places you wish you had seen.
Some of the poorest people have become rich just by sheer
hard work.Nobody wants to work till they drop, but you have got to put yourself out there.
Remember ,nobody knows how long they have to live.If you are fit and well go live your life, that's what it's for.

First thing is get off the computer and run a mile down the road and back. Then tonite get to bed at 8 and wake up at 7 for a few days. Take a cold shower. Run 1mile again. Then go get a job where you arent lazy and where you have to be there. Do this for a few months and you lazyness should be cured.

When the repercussions of being lazy get bad enough you'll do something about it.
I have a 54yr old friend who is lazy. All day long he watches movies, makes efforts at working on computers. . he's had one of mine now for 9months,he naps,he drinks his Scotch and he eats out alot (he is using up all of his retirment funds and has even said he'll have to go back to work. . .someday).
When I am off work shopping, going to the Dr,visiting with other friends etc, this guy is on the phone constantly and distracting me.
When I am off, this guy is on the phone trying to drag me away from the chores I have to do on my weekend days off. . .those things he can do all week long while sitting on his #*^()*^.
I have to turn off my phone to get sleep in the mornings as he gets up at 4am and thinks everyone else does.
I have let him deter me too long in an effort to be his friend
and now I am having to work double time to get things done around my home that I have let go in order to go places with this "friend".
Little bit by little bit I am cutting off my contact with this guy as his laziness is getting in my way.
Do you do the same thing to your friends? Have they gotten to the point that I have gotten?
Like I said, when the repercussions get great enough you'll do something about it.

Get a job.....regardless of the fact you are too lazy. This form of laziness is in your head. Make yourself get up and get a job.

yes...its called motivation. You should try it, no but seriously though. I fyou find something you really enjoy doing and it is something worth doing, like jogging or playing a sport, maybe joining a club or volunteering, then tell your self everyday that you wont do it until you have your to do list done, that way you get it done faster. and you have the motivation to get it done faster because youwant to hurry up and get to the fun stuff!!!! NO CHEATING!!!!!!

COCAINE! jk. Routine is probably your best bet. The more your used to doing something the more prone you are to repeating it. You should start doing things daily to get in the mind set.

Its all up to you to get out of it. when you first get up. just start doing things and don't sit down, because I find out once I sit down I don't want to do anything either. I have to force my self to do it. good luck.

The cure for laziness is get up of your **** and get a full-time job.
We would all love to be lazy, and appreciate being lazy on our days off work, but surely you must be getting bored with it. If you are bored surely the boredom would be enough for you to get out more.
Do you not have a life and a social life?

Laziness may not be the word. You may have health problems. Get to a free clinic, check local health hot lines in your area for free or sliding scale clinics and go and get some tests. You may have hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia (low or high blood glucose levels), you could be lacking an other minerals in your body, or other medical issues. Please go, and get everything checked out. The other problem could be depression but before you accept that diagnosis, rule out ALL MEDICAL POSSIBILITIES first. Please just get up enough energy to get out to the doctor and find out for sure.

Take excercise, if you can be arsed!#
That should get some motivation onto you. Do it with a partner though, otherwise it'll just be another meaningless ambition!
