Sassy OLD Broad	If you have contracted herpes, you'll have to live with it and prevent outbreaks depending on what kind of virus it happens to be. There is no cure. However, there are some good over-the-counter meds that are beneficial and dry up the blisters quickly. Ask your pharmacist. (assuming these are on your mouth). Misc	actually, it is found that over many years of medical treatment, herpes can be cured. but you must be persistent about treatment. talk to your doctor. it is a common misconception - but it isn't easily treated and takes a loooonng time. or at least that is what my dr told me. forget the herbs. and always ask for a clean mouth piece. most good places give you a sealed one Was this answer helpful to you? mycasper_22	yes there is certain way to treat it. #Firstly do keep your face clean and don't kiss anyone for sometime as this herpes on face is of type I and is contageous. #then do take a 10 days course of Acyclovir 200mg five times a day..with this the lesions on your face will disappear by 2nd day but please do complete the course otherwise it will recurr. #Always remember that even with the best of the best treatment in the world, the virus of herpes will remain dormant in our facial nerves for our lifelong..we can't remove them and so whenever your immunity shall decrease substantially in future then it will recurr. so the best advise to you is consult doctor earliest and start medication. take care and donot panic.
