Cranberry Juice is the best bet.
Also drinking plenty of water would be a good idea, flush out your system.
Although, if it doesnt get better using these methods, seeing a doctor is still the best way to go.

lots and lots of Cranberry juice. Also, they sell over the counter medication to help relieve the symptoms. I think it is called Azo or something like that. If it doesn't go away in a few days or if it gets worse, you will need to see your dr for an antibiotic. Good luck!

u cant! an untreated uti can ascend from lower urethra area up into ur kidneys, where it can do serious, expensive kidney damage!see dr for antibiotics b4 it gets worse.u can take "Azo" to help with discomfort, its an otc med,in any drugstore, but Azo is NOT a cure,it just numbs the urethra a bit to tide u over the discomfort while waiting 2 c ur dr.

Dont succumb to the crap American health system and try and self medicate.. go to a doctor. I realize it must suck to have to pay for medical care but suck it up and go. Don't drug yourself,, there's enough ads on your tv channels to choke a horse.

It is better to see a doctor and get antibiotics, but since you specified without meds....drink tons of water and. Cranberry juice. The Cranberry juice changes the pH of your urine and makes it hard for bacteria to survive. Don't drink any brown drinks.....I'm talking about bottles of Cranberry juice ...... drink at least one a day and more if possible.

I ultimately feel that a doctor should make sure that it really is a UTI before you try to treat it. It could be something else. Always be careful when using home remedies if you are taking any other medications too!
I use Cranberry fruit concentrate soft gel pills. 2 or more pills after every meal with full glass of water.
Pee often and completely (wait until ALL the pee is out (not dripping) before you are done).
Drink TONS of water to flush your system, and get enough sleep, sleep helps your body regenerate and heal.
If there is any pain involved or it becomes unbearable, your doctor is your best bet for sure.
Good luck!

cranberry juice HELPS but you can not cure it with antibiotics...you have a bacterial infection and the only thing that will fix it is an antibiotics.
if you don't go to the doctor, you are only hurting yourself. You will become more susceptible to them and can cause worse problems for yourself.

ALOT just drink it anytime you drink something during the day. stop drinking any sodas or tea or coffees , they also make Cranberry capsules, you can find them in most pharmacys or target or wallmart. of course you should see a doctor. but i work at a drs office and all we do is check your urine and then call in antibiotics. i hate taking any antibiotics so Ive done the Cranberry juice.

Try Garlic. Eat a Clove two times every day. Doesn't matter if it's pickled or even just chopped up and cooked in some eggs or something. Could try microwaving it for 1 minute until it's soft, too. I found that the Garlic pills you can get don't work. It has to be the real thing from the grocery store. But seek antibiotics if it doesn't help soon. Things like this can be very serious.

you really should seek a doctor, but if you're not willing to do here's what i found (website below)....
"Number one rule in treating UTI is to drink lots of water. This will help flush the bacteria out of your bladder and urinary Tract.
Avoid eating dairy products and chocolate. You should also avoid spicy foods, carbinated drinks, alcohol and coffee.
D-Mannose can be bought at a health food story.
Cranberry Juice -- Cranberry juice is an old staple in curing urinary Tract infection. It is probably the most popular of all the remedies for UTI. Remember to use 100% unsweetened Cranberry juice even if it is tart. One way to deal with the tartness is to dilute the juice in water as you are going to need to drink a lot of water anyway.
Uva Ursi -- This is an excellent herb for treating urinary Tract infection. Uva Ursi contains arbutin a chemical that has antiseptic and analgesic properties that are helpful in clearing the urinary Tract of bacteria. It is also Astringent and has diuretic effects that help reduce the accumulation of uric acid. Uva Ursi has been used by herbalists for bladder infections and to ease the pain of uriniary stones or gravel."

A full blown UTI will need antibiotics to be fully cured. However, there are several at-home, natural preventitive measures such as taking Cranberry supplements.

Believe me when I say I am a expert with UTIs. I get them at least 6 times a year! The only thing you can do is go to the drugstore and take cystex, that will only work a few days....then you have to have antibiotics!
