Sorry I don't have an answer for you this is a great question with some lousy answers. Looks like they are just point getter's or something. Not sure what you would call them.
I am looking for this too. I right now use 2CLEAR and they are pretty normal and are not to bad but I am looking for a thinner one I guess they are thinner to require less eye moisture to keep them ply-able. The only thing though is they seem to roll up and get temporary lost under the eye lid a bit easier than my normal ones when my eyes decide to have a dry day.
Just look on this great tool the Internet and read comment from people who have had the same problem and are out trying to find that magic contact. If it is a problem the small price to find the Right thickness is a small fee to pay if you correct the problem. Shoot if you write to the manufacture they will probably send you a free pack once they confirm that you have seen a eye doc just to get you to try there brand.

Depends on why your eyes are dry. Since there are so many reasons for 'dry eye', you really need to go to your eye doc first to make sure there is no medical reason for the dryness (allergies, infection, etc). If that IS the case, you may not be able to wear contacts, until you have that under control. Be smart, take care of your eyes...or better yet, let a doc do it!

Disposables are the best and healthiest way to wear contact lenses. You should always your doctor for the advice regarding different brands. There are no perfect brand but some may be better for you than other.

There are a couple of brands that we try for dryness. A couple of our favorites are Biomedics XC, Acuvue Oasys, Proclear, and a new brand called Biofinity. They run from 30-60 per box. The Biomedics XC and Oasys are 2 week replacement contacts and the Proclear and Biofinity are 1 month replacement. Those are our favorite brands to fit but check with your doctor for his recommendations. And just make sure he knows that you have trouble with dryness. You may need to use a good rewetting drop with them as well. Hope this helps!!
