Contacts or Glasses?

Weas	i like contacts but rarely wear them for long periods of time as they make my eyes feel tired. Plus i can never be bothered to fiddle around putting them in when i can just shove my glasses on. I do recommend you get some though so you have a choice. They are great if you are going out for the evening-i wouldn't wear them all day at work though.

Debbie	I wear contacts sometimes. The reason I don't wear them all the time is beacuse i find them more annoying than glasses. They are hard to put in and take out at first, but then once you do ti a few times its really easy. I jsut dont like the feeling of having something in my eye. However, it is a good idea to atleast try them. Everyone is different and i know a lot of people who love them.

honora2929	Hi ,my daughter loves contacts and wears them all the time .She also has a pair of glasses because sometimes your eyes need a rest from contacts .I say give it a go and see how you get on ,maybe try a free trial .Honora x

dogstar4god	go for em. i love mine. till about the 25 day mark..... keep the glasses and if you dont mind em that much (like me) just wear the glasses on days you know you aren't going anywhere

leah	I have been wearing contacts since I was 13, Im now 28. They are great!! They are a little itchy at first so keep your drops on you at all times cause you'll need them. But after about a week you'll wish you would have tried them sooner. Just remember to wash your hands before you put them in to keep from getting any eye infections.

spydersinh	I had contacts for a while but also have glasses. I prefer contacts over glasses except that if you needed a break for your eyes, you would have to remove your contacts instead of just slipping off your glasses.

Ellie.	I have both . My contacts give me freedom and better vision as they sit on your eye. Glasses for emergency . You should go to the opticians and ask for a free trial .You will be surprised at the difference and if you don't like them you've lost nothing. Good luck.

RT(R)	I would never go back to wearing glasses ever. I am 30 now, and i've been wearing contacts since I was in junior high. Never had a problem with them. Some people though do have issues. I swim with them, bathe with them, and sleep with them. You cant even tell you have them in. You see better and dont have to worry about ruining an expensive pair of glasses by dropping them or scratching them. And contacts are cheap. I pay about 25 bux for 3 pair. They last me a very long time, cuz I over wear them. I know I shouldnt, but I've never had an issue with over wearing them, so i continue to do so and just lie to the eye dr when they ask me how long I wear them at a time. And each time they tell me how healthy my eyes are and how I must take good care with the contacts..yay right.

Michelle M	Hey, well everyone likes a change from time to time. I do think it all just depends on your face and what type of glasses you would wear. But all in all Id def say get contacts because for certain situations they would be better to wear. Don't be put off at first as they may be a little uncomfortable, but you will get used to them! shastacat	I've been wearing glasses since 1991 and I tried to get contacts about 1 mo. ago. They didn't work out for me. Sometimes, contacts aren't for everyone!

Eeyore	Why not forget glasses and contact lenses altogether and go for laser surgery.

Crazy Train	I like my contacts more than glasses I don't get as many headaches that's why. I like soft contacts if you can. I would at least try them contacts are not as expensive as they used to be. Good luck. :)

Ananya	I wear contacts mon-fri and glasses on weekends to give my eyes some rest because when you wear contacts your eyes don't "breathe". Your pupils are covered. I'm thinking of buying a cool pair of super thin glasses so I don't need to wear contacts anymore "for the look". What's annoying about contacts are: 1. You are recommended to wear them not more than 8 hours a day. It means you actually need to take them off after work and switch to glasses. I had mild irritation last year as the result of wearing contacts from morning till bed time. 2. My eyes tend to dry so I need to carry the lens drops anywhere. 3. When I take a nap, it doesn't feel comfortable especially when I wake up from my nap. You can feel your pupils are covered with some sort of plastic. 4. When I cry they tend to come off. 5. Well..of course..I can't go to the beach or have a ride on a motorbike with my contacts. The wind, dust, and sand really hurt my eyes. The contacts I'm wearing is of a well-known brand, can't mention it here. It's good to try but I won't recommend a long term use.

Julie	I used to wear glasses and then i got contacts and I absolutly love them. You can't even feel them when they are in your eyes. If you do get them, its kind of hard to get them in so don't let that turn you down.

Pink Princess	I have been wearing contacts every single day for the past ten years and I LOVE them! It is so much easier to wear contacts than to have glasses sitting on your face. Plus I hate glasses and contacts make people look so much more attractive. I say for it.

kit	It depends on your prescription and how big the lenses are. If the prescription tells you that you need a big lenses and you look hideous in big eyewear then go get contacts and glasses. Wear contacts during the day and your glasses at home. Talk to your optometrist.

Ollie	Contact lenses are cool my sister swears by them.

mlgable	My daughter wears contacts and I wore them in the past. If you hate glasses go for it but just remember to take good care of the lense and keep your glasses current for when you need them.

Jules	I started wearing contacts in 8th grade...well that was 15 years ago. I wear soft and I have an astigmatism. I love them, but I do like to wear my glasses at night to rest my eyes and sometimes on the weekend. Good Luck!
