There are many different ways to release stress. I think one effective way is to do activities that you enjoy doing..
But the best of all is....PRAY!

Count all of the dimples on a rubber hot water bottle.
Takes your mind off your worries.
Screws your eyesight up,though.
Oh,and use an empty bottle, otherwise you'll repeatedly burn your finger.
Hey,it's probably as good as any other suggestion.......
Just smile, laugh, dance for no reason and hug someone you love.
Seriously.
Love n' kisses,y'all x

Something very easy and cheap i learnt from a friend is to keep a balloon in your bag this sounds nuts but it works!
When feeling like your are going to blow or just really stressed just take it to the bathroom and blow it up in 4 breaths and then release than again and again. It gets rid of all the anxiety and really does help. I swear by it.

Quiet and solitude! I used to find that 'palming' exercises for eye relaxation used to help for stress .... sit at a table and with your elbows on the table, palm both eyes so that light is comfortably blanked our. Then look into the blackness and imagine the gloom get blacker and blacker and blacker ..... with practice, this gets easier as you go on ..... hold the black image for five to ten minutes and simply enjoy the visual peace and calm .... not only will that relieve eye tension but it will bring inner peace as well and can be done anytime ... although best if you are on your own.

buy zenith products and for 8 years have engineers keep coming to fix it...ask them to replace it under warranty...and wait for the return call ,which never comes...then you wait for customer care to call again. to try and sell you more of thier products.and then when they do..vent all your anger,in a nice way..at them and tell them that the product is crap...and that you want it replaced under warranty..what do you get? the phone no of HEAD OFFICE given to you and what you really want is the number of the CEO/chairman...

Try reading in a quiet place.
Saying that, have you ever been bored in the doctor's surgery waiting. Picked up a magazine to read. Then get called just as you've got to a good article?
Oh, and talk to a really good friend, who can take your mind off things. Have a chat and a laugh.

go for a walk, not just for 3 minutes but for 33 minutes. I walk 40 minutes home after work and each step you take leaves work one step behind you. it really does clear the mind and you are getting fresh air, seeing beautiful sights and exercising. if you like biking, ride the stress out... it will be gone before you know it.
