There can be many reasons. Some might have to do with anxiety and depression. You can get help with this if you like. Call your county's mental health services number. There is a lot of agencies that can help you. Studies show that people with strong social networks live longer and healthier lives. |

You're probably just an introvert. there's nothing wrong with that. Don't confuse that with an anti-social personality disorder. That's a serious personality disorder mostly associated with serial killers. Take this test. It will give you a personality profile. (Myers-Briggs) http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes1.htm |

TOTALLY agree with APES. Give her 10 points. There is no way to know why or what to call it or if it should have a name without more detail. I don't interact with anyone when I'm tired, cranky, or have a lot of school work. Doesn't mean I have any "disorder." |

There is a difference between being lonely and being alone. Your choosing to not interact with others. If you work you must talk to someone and if you don't why not? Personally I have three grown children and I am alone alot but I soccialize at work, go to college in the evenings, have many hobbies and since I have worked in many school grades I have numerous pains in the behinds that still call me, visit and e-mail me every day. Do something you like and force yourself out there into something....sport for fun ...volunteer doing tutoring or helping out someplace....you'll be busier than you ever thought possible because there is a need everywhere no matter where you live for help in many places.....NO EXCUSES! |

if you are an anti social you would have poor judgement towards others and they're feelings etc. some anti socials even cause damage to themselves or others, sometimes vandalism. yours sounds like social anxiety. |

It depends why you do not interact with someone. I find it difficult to put a label on someone without knowing the details. People are to quick to judge without knowing the details. |
