you have to surround yourself with friends, get out and do something , keep busy and dont be alone.understand though that some times you need professional help to get you out of it. it could take you to a bad place..sometimes pills help like the ones you see on tv. but please have them prescribed because taking them with out a dr. telling you which one could be worst than you think. good luck ..if it gets really bad im me sometimes its easier to tell a stranger your problems that way you dont care if they judge you..i have been there.

First I cry and get it out. Then I listen to my heart and hear God telling me that although things are tough, He didn't bring me this far to leave me. Then I turn on my gospel music and have a praise party! When the praises go up....the blessings come down! God Bless You and you have my prayers. Remember that God can give you wings of an Eagle to enable you to fly over your storm!

The bets thing to do is, surprisingly exercise. This way your body creates endorphins and endorphins are your bodies natural mood lifter. Althgouh when youre feeling down its the last thing you want to do, a brisk walk really does help

chill out, get out of the house... sitting around is just gonna make you feel worse... i usually blast some really good music in my car and drive around... eventually you'll just forget... especially if its really night out.

Take a walk or complete a task. Clean the house, finish a project or take a new one on, exercise, talk to an old friend who knows me, masturbate, do my hair and make up and get dressed up and go out somewhere, etc. I suffer from depression and am actually on meds for it, and the things I used to do that would help tremendously before the meds was just what I said.

Spend time with your friends or go buy yourself some iceceam and walk at the mall...shoping always makes you feel good but dont spend money you dont have because it makes it worse in the long run. If you ever need anyone to talk to...I will be more than happy to chat!!! Your family can always lend you a little comfort too!!

This may miss the mark, so forgive me if it does.
The Japanese have a word which translate to "a beautiful moment." It's usually something simple like a full moon or a sunset.
When cherry blossoms are in bloom, they have flower viewing parties. They have a picnic with friends, play music, sing and dance while viewing the beautiful cherry blossoms.
In other words, there are these miracles that occur almost daily that are of such beauty, that life is really filled with cause for celebration and joy. You don't need to actually throw a party, but you can take the moment to gaze at the moon and appreciate the beauty of it all.
And it's not just a Japanese thing. We've all heard the expression to "stop and smell the roses." We should stop and smell the rose and gaze at the rose and appreciate it's beauty, especially knowing that it is with us for but a moment in time. That rose is a miracle. As is your family and friends. If you make an effort to notice the treasures around you, you will not have time to feel hopeless or depressed.

I am in the same boat- I find myself eating just to eat. However there were times when I took Zoloft and it helped alot, but I had to get off of it because it made me gain weight.. Best thing is to surround yourself with friends, and get involved in activities. When you are distracted by others and other things, you don't have time to sit and think about yourself, and time goes by fast. This is the best and easiest solution. Get out of your head, and look around you, you might
just see that it is not so bad after all. I know, I know , it is easier said than done, but trust me, been there done that.
