the same thing happens to me, I was sexually mullested when I was 3 and I was having painful flashbacks as well. what I did is I found the guy, killed him, and looked at his penis and it all came back.
I would suggest an Ice pick to the guys temple that mullested you, its quick, and theres no time to react.

YES! My earliest memory is when I was 2 or almost 2, (around that age) and I remember watching tv one night and all the talk on every station that night was Regan getting shot. They kept showing the clips over and over, and I remember being scared.
I also have lots of memories, sketchy and in bit and pieces until I was around 4 or 5, and the memories become much more clearer.

yes it is, although psychologists say that usually the memory is either something overwhelmingly wonderful or terribly traumatic, and that children that age dont usually remember the mundane things that occur day to day

Yep, it is possible. My first memory is of when I was a bit over a year, and I remember my second birthday pretty clearly too. So, I'm sorry to disppoint you, but though this is uncommon, it's not so to the point of unheard of.

Yeah, sure, totally. I lived with my mom and dad in an upstairs apartment until I was 3 years old and I still remember that apartment vividly - watching TV and eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, parts of some cartoons I watched, the fishtank with tetras and a big suckerfish that I was always terrified of, and how my bedroom was arranged.
You should write down things you remember when they occur to you. You'll be surprised by what you collect and can piece them together later with family's help.

A couple of years ago, I was describing this birthday party I had when I was a kid to my mom. I told her what I got as presents and what the table looked like that we sat around, and some of the things that she said. It turned out to be my 2nd birthday party! My boyfriend remembers being in his crib and crying for attention, and that happened when he was even younger than 2. So yep, it's possible.

Absolutely. There are many studies that determined that we all have a photographic memory. Most of us simply haven't organized it.

yes, I can remember laying in my crib, and my dad coming in and playing with me before going to sleep. I smile every time I think about it. I can remember loving it and getting so excited.

Yes, I believe it's possible. I think it's the hippocampus, but a part of your brain develops for long term memory at around 3 years old, but some people may develop it sooner. Lots of people I know can remember things from when they were 2.

I'm 62 years old and I have memories dating back to when I was 2 and even younger. I remember the first time I met my dad. He was in the service during WW2, stationed in France when I was born. He came home when I was 1 1/2 years old. I can remember just like it was yesterday when I saw him drive up in our drive way in a taxi. I remember thinking he must be nice because my mom ran and kissed him for a long time. And my grandma was there laughing and crying and hugging him too. I remember more than that, but too long of a story to repeat. And, I remember other episodes of my life back then. Some of us do have a memory span that will go back that far. My mom is 83 and she still tells stories of when she was a toddler. Same with my grandma. And, my children who are grown now has memories dating back to when they were 2 and 3 years old too. Most of my life I thought every one could remember their young childhood. But later on in life I realized this to be untrue. I guess you could say we have a gift? I know it's strange that we do and others don't.

Anybody can remember anything, it's just that not all of us do. Im sorta suprised you did, a lot of times certain things or experiences can trigger a memory no matter what age it was at. But more often then not they are bad experiences, but if you just remembered then wow great memory!

absolutely, the memory part of the brain is like a camera. It stores pictures and events that may re-appear after many years.

According to my mother, my record is remembering things from when I was 22 months old. I remember seeing my mom and dad fighting in the kitchen right before they got divorced, which finalized right after I had turned 2.

Yes its possible, I have one from when I was 2. Sometimes we "make up" memories from hearing stories or seeing photos, but yours sounds similar to mine. There are no family photos of a car my grandfather sold when I was 2 that I can remember vividly.

It's possible. It's not everybody, but lots of people seem to have a few very early memories. Doesn't usually seem to be continuous memory of an event - more like single scenes.
I have almost exactly the same kind of experience. I can clearly remember the view of a certain wall, window and curtains. My mom told me that I am describing the view from my crib.
I also have a strong memory of being out by a redwood fence standing in the sun near a little tree/bush that was completely covered in little white flowers. Apparently that was also the back yard of the same house. We also moved the summer I turned 2.

Yes, it is possible.
I've always had a memory of when I was 2, and we lived in an old house. My brother and I would go around the house looking for cracks in the plaster, and when we found one, we'd yell "Ummmmm!" and laugh hysterically.
And I woke up one night, and saw a strange light outside the window that was swinging from side to side like a pendulum. I screamed and climbed out of my crib and woke up my parents. They always insisted it was a dream, but I remember seeing the light as I was already standing in the crib.

I think so. There are memories I have from that time... although sometimes I wonder if I really remember them, or if I'm conjuring them from what other people have told me. But mostly I think I can remember.
