It is your hormones, trust me. And if you're feeling depressed, that's normal for your age. You'll snap out of it soon. Just cry your eyes out if you need to, and write some depressing poetry. It'll be interesting to look back on in a few years.

Hi, You say that you are going back to school in a few days and that you always get into trouble, Do you think the worry of that is making you a bit tearful? or has this been going on for a while. Please don't think you are stupid tho, cos you're not.xxx

Yeah, sounds like depression to me. You probably have some sort or inner turmoil that's keeping you down. Perhaps your parents are divorced, or you don't have a dad, or maybe you are just really lonely. If you think there IS something that's keeping you down, I would try to pinpoint the problem and deal with it. Depression is very common, so remember that you're not alone.
Make sure you eat enough, sleep enough, and drink lots of water. A weak body will make you depressed easily. Don't bother going to a therapist, they will only talk down to you.

don't say that it's not your hormones.. it may be just that. they do have a lot to answer for. and that is something you can talk to your doctor about. nothing to be ashamed of.
can you confide in your friends? anyone out there for you to talk to and get whatever it is off your chest?
maybe this is a good time too, to do some soul searching and discover who you are exactly. find out who you are and what makes you tick.
it's easy to say "don't worry" but it goes much deeper than that, dosen't it? you need to talk to someone.
good luck!!!!

First off, you're 14, so it's your hormones. Secondly, it seems like you're really dreading going to school.
So your hormones are out of whack, you're scared of something, and you seem to be under a lot of stress.
Talk to your parents, play with puppies, drink lots of herbal tea. Other than that, being 14 kinda sucks. Not much you can do but the best you can.

Well.. when you are 14, you go through some changes. Crying just happens... you may be a bit more sensitive than others.. that's okay. Heck.. I cry when I watch a Kodak commercial haha.
Don't stress about it too much. Just remember to keep your chin up. If you ever need to talk, feel free to message me.

I suspect that you are over sensitive and need more self assurance and cofidence. Hopefully your home life is secure and stable. A really good carring, dependable friend could help.
Here is something to try. When you lie down at night ( or anytime when you can be alone and undisturbed) close your eyes, relax and slowly start to relax every part of your body starting with your toes. Then move to your feet , then your legs, your knees, your thighs etc. Once you are totally relaxed start consentrating on your childhood going back as far as you can remember. Try and see every detail and every bit you posibly can. Trace your young life up to the present time. In the process try and examing what makes you happy, what makes you sad. What makes you laugh and what makes you cry and why. This process will help you to understand and know yourself much better. You should be able to see what your strong points are as well as your weekness. This way you can project your strengths forward and face up to your weeker points. By facing them you can find ways of overcomming them and/or eliminate them altogether.
Take your time and don't rush. This may take several days. If you should fall asleep in the process, no problem. Start from where you left off the last time. Remember to relax first.
Hopefully this will help you. If nothing else it will help you to mature and strengthen your character.
Good luck my young friend...always remember ...no matter what love yourself first.

At your age I cried EVERY day, and more than one time a day... I think it's something that will pass... Even if I could actually cry daily still. Anyway no hing make sense when you are teen. But don't worry about it. But if you feel that nothing motivates you, and you lost joy for life, you could be depressed, go to a psychologist, so you'll feel better and relieved.

well, hormones, pms, your body is constantly changing. i wouldn't say you're depressed unless if you are CONSTANTLY unhappy and/or have thoughts of unhappiness or possibly suicide. it's ok. you're growing you're a girl. girls have estrogen so they're more emotional than guys are. don't sweat it. and don't take most advice guys give you about growing up or saying you're depressed, unless if they're older and more mature. it'll be ok.

You are just going through adolescence. It is a natural thing. Just try to understand that your hormones are on a roller coaster right now, one minute you are fine, the next you are sad or angry. You will have ups and downs for the next few years. As far as school goes, you have at least 4 more years and even though you have gotten in trouble before, does not mean you will this year. Try a little harder, listen to your teachers, it is better to "join them then to fight them" Life will be a lot easier.

It's your hormones and your body is just changing. Your period may be about ready to start and if has already started - your body is going thur a multiple of changes. Ask your mom to take you to the doctor for a check-up - it's a good thing to go to the doctor once you're at the age that you start your period. Welcome to being a teenager!

I am 26 and I have the same problem...and I think it is hormones...or a chemical imbalance of some kind. Have you spoken to a doctor about it? Or your Mom? Try asking some of the more trusted older females in your life....they have invaluable information to help you with these sorts of problems. And, if that doesn't help, then I recommend seeing a doctor. And don't let anyone tell you that you are a loser or anything because you're not. Crying is perfectly normal for anyone at any age. Just keep your head up and do your best to find the root of the problem. That is the best thing you can do. =)

I know what you mean. You must learn to reel in your emotions a little. I was the same way in my adolescent years. You feel like you never do anything right, nobody loves you, your parents are making your life a living hell. Growing up does that to you.
People on this forum will tell you that you are stupid, to get a life or that god loves you, none of them are qualified to make a diagnosis. I certainly am not. Life has a way to right itself in due time. Being oversensitive about some things is not a flaw, neither is it a weakness. It is just the way some of us are made.
Time, a good shoulder to cry on and understanding will most certainly help you. I am 50 years old and occasionally I still cry for no reason, and man, I do I feel good after. Don't worry you will be all right.
Good day to you and good luck.

Teenagers get very emotional over the slightest things. Everything is such a big deal to them. I believe the hormones are kicking in & causing chaos now and again. There's nothing wrong with you mentally or physically so when things seem to get overwhelming,go take a nice long bubble bath, and just relax. With time everything will be better and you'll have forgotten all about the rough moments.Good luck to you.

It sounds like a few thing, 1st you have problems at school and the idea of going back makes you nervous, You dont say why you have problems there but you need to try to address those. Maybe you need help with classes or is there someone who gives you problems, see about switching classes or talking to the guidance counselor/ Then you may have pms or a hormonal imbalance. maybe it is time for your period, You dont say how long this has been going on. If it is just a few days you may want to wait another week and see how you feel, If it has been a while then you should talk to the school nurse or your mom about it. Is there any chance that you could be pregnant? I hope not cause you are really young but that will also make you cry at the drop of a glass. You are not stupid and if you are depressed then you need to get help cause depression is an illness just like any other and you shouldnt feel stupid about that. If you just need someone to talk to, you can email me and I would write you back.
