Some organizations have tracking devices, but they won't use it against you. You don't need to worry about your parents finding out. They are very discrete and can help you out. If you feel like you are in trouble now they might ask you if they can send someone to your home, such as the police, to get you some help. If you say no they aren't going to do it against your will. A number you can call is 1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433). You can also call 1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255). They are toll free numbers.

listen to me!!!! call them now!!! They wouldnt track your number if they could. Talk to a nutral party and get those feelings out also call your united way or go to unitedway.org and find free counceling in your area

no. it is illegal for them to. if they do, then sue them for all theyve got and then live happy on the money. the *67 shud work, if not just call from a friends cell phone with *67, they are not traceable back to you. just in case i know u probly have it but some hotlines are

Here's the paranoia part: If it's a toll-free number, they will know the number you're calling from. It's part of the toll-free service they receive.
Here's the non-paranoia part: There's a confidentiality to talking to suicide hotlines.
Here's the serious part: If you are contemplating suicide, talk to your parents. They do need to know this, and you should seek help NOW.

Do not change your phone number. Instead, install a new unlisted line and keep the old line connected to an answering machine that uses removable cassettes. Give the new number only to those whom you trust the most. If the stalker leaves messages on your machine, remove the cassette, date it, and keep it as evidence

If you need to talk to somebody about suicidal feelings but your parents won't understand, you could try to talk to someone from a friend's house or maybe even from a payphone. I don't know if ethics policies would allow them to trace phone numbers, but you need to talk to someone regardless. Check out the links below for crisis-hotline numbers, and also for a little bit about my own struggle when I was in high school. yes, they will track your phone number because in very serious cases they may call an ambulance or police for someone.
BUT - they are also restricted in who they can give information to. They are not allowed to contact your parents if you do not want them to.

I don't think they can and if they can, they probably won't try calling you back. You should still call so that someone can help you resolve your problems. Life might be hard for you right now, but you have to have enough faith in yourself to know that you can pull through. If you are afraid of you conversation being trace back to your home, use one of the payphones, which are still available. On a payphone you can give them a fake name, still tell them your problem, and bee free from the fear of them tracing you.

I used to work with one years ago. We could find the number via caller ID and provide it tothe police if needed. All calls are confidential thought. They would only contact the police if you were a danger to yourself and other. like if you said " I have a gun and want to die". The police and your parents would know. They would ask you if you have talked to anyone else like your parents. You can allways ask them if they would share your info. Please though if you are thinking of it call somebody.

Suicide hotlines are confidential... I understand that part of their privacy agreements prohibit them from maintaining lists of inbound calls. Please call them, you have more value than you will ever know!

If you need talk, who cares who finds out. If you really want to hide it from your parents, Talk to another adult you trust. Like someone a school, or a friends parents or another relative. If you are feeling suicidal, you must get help, immediately. I'm telling you from experience. This will pass, you may need medication or counseling or a change of envirionment, but it will stop. CALL SOMEONE NOW!!!

i dont think so but you could always *67 just in case or if you are still concerned about them tracing you you need to go to a pay phone most 800 numbers are free on them but this is definitely something you need to discuss maybe even try to find an on line chat
i know where you are right now and i know how serious this is to get someone to talk to please do and know that people do love you and care about you. pray for strength and know that GOD himself says He will never put anything on you that you cannot handle keep this in mind and make the call for help

Actually, it's against their policy to track your number, and especially for them to call you. You should be able to call them without worries.
