You should be happy for life, after all, some are scraped from there mothers womb and others just have been captured and tortured before they are 10. Some are also riddin with cancer and aids cause momma is not smart or crack heads with arms on their sides. Just Think About How Good You Have It. You will feel better, I promise!

Go to a psychiatrist and talk to them. There are free ones in your area. They can put you on something for those types of thoughts and they can even tell you why your having them.

Look for something that will keep you busy. Spend more time with friends and loved ones. Go out more frequently. Don't lock yourself in a bedroom. Maybe I have no idea of what your problem is, but I tell you, don't hurt yourself. If you are feeling like this because of someone, don't let this situation and/or person ruin your life. At the end, that person will forget whatever happened and will go on with his/her life, and you will be in a dark hole not knowing what to do next. Look for other people's company, never be alone in this situation. Life is beautiful, believe it or not. I know what it feels to be like that, by my own experience, and by one of my friends experience. If you get active in something positive for your life, you'll soon see how stupid it was wanting to end a situation by taking away your own life. You'll even feel that having these thoughts was something so far away...something that you'll never do if you were in the same situation again. Most important above all: tell God you want him to be with you in this difficult moment. He will be there for you. I know for sure.

AS YOU HAVE SAID THAT THIS FEELING HAS COME ON AND GOT WORSE.WHICH IN YOU HEAD MAY NOT SEEM TO BE A GOOD THING AND TO MY PRESPECTIVE IS IS NOT......HOWEVER YOU ARE STILL ALIVE GREAT AND GOOD ON YOU!!!!!you do need to seek medical attention especially if you have made plans to die.It seem s that you are very depressed and that to you nothing is worth anything but thats just today and yesterday and probably even b4 that.You can go to a doctor and get medication to even out how you are feeling then also some on going therapy would be really beneficial to you.It is not going to be a quick fix solution but you will have the chance to better your thoughts about your life and start making postive moves towards the future!!!!!!

Exercise.
I used to be the same way as you (though I never did cut myself...I hope you can help yourself stop that urge) and that's the way I stopped it. It sets your mind on one thing and takes your worries away.
Just remember the consequences. Regardless of whether you're religious or not, suicide has no benefits.
I hope you get feeling better. =)

I don't know how old you are. If you are a young person.....age 7-30.....and if something is irking you ask yourself, "Will this matter a year from now? Ten years from now?" You will probably eventually see that life changes as you get older. If not, let it pass. You can also try getting active in your community if you are not already, to prove to yourself that you are worth something in life. Visit a hospice or volunteer there. Ask questions, talk with dying patients. Visit a retirement community. Let your voice be heard.

PRAY. It doesn't matter if you're "religious" or not, or whether you think it's stupid or not. Go to a quite place where you can be undisturbed for a bit (like a quite place in a park, or your room). If you have a Bible, take that with you. (If not, grab one from a friend or at your local library. Or even the internet!) Start reading the New Testament, or Psalms. Even if you only read one verse, just reading the Word of God will help SO much more than you know, even if you don't realize it at the time! But more important than that, PRAY! Out loud or in your heart, formal speech or casual words, it doesn't matter - cry out to God! Tell Him ALL you're feeling, even things you may have been keeping inside. Ask Him for His peace - He won't desert you in your time of need!

when ever you feel down and out, exercise. Do pushups, crunches, jumping jacks, jogging, walking, etc, it will improve your self-esteem.

OK.It is normal for a lot of people, maybe you are young ,and you do not realize how many people feel like you in one moment of their life.If you want to be OK,first you have to go to the doctor ,he is going to give you some medications,and in the same time you have to fight,think that this is not going to be like that forever.Maybe you lost something or somebody,you have to live with the idea that is the natural way of things,sounds hard,it was for me too,but after everything will be OK,you will see that life is so beautiful.

Cutting becomes addictive. It actually releases endorphins so the more you do it, the more you do it and it just gets worse and worse. If you're not getting professional help, it's a good idea to do so. But remember that no matter how many doctors you see or how many medicines your take, the only person who can make you better is yourself. That might mean that you include therapy and meds in your treatment, but ultimately you have to make the decision to stop cutting to alleviate your anxiety and pain and deal with your issues head on. Believe me, I know from over 20 hospitalizations and scars all over my arms that this is far easier said than done and I feel for you. However, all you end up with is ugly arms you regret and it doesn't solve a thing. Life really is beautiful, though I'd have argued with that statement fifteen years ago. It takes a lot of hard work to get through what you're going through, but then you come out the other side stronger and so proud of yourself for having done it. It is possible. You can do it!!!

I felt like this a few years ago. My problem was that I tried to take on too much added 2 jobs, pressure from my family and the need to make my friends happy, yea it'll practically make you start to think, "Am I better off dead?" The answer is no though. Just start to make yourself happy. Ignore friends. Don't make excuses just say what you feel to both your parents and friends. If you were like me, I was a student, I also said to hell to one of my jobs. My focus was on me and my studies. Just like you I realized that I might be inclined to cause harm to myself. If you're a student, walk into your health center and speak to someone. It is confidential. The people are so friendly, they set you up with a psychologist who just talks to you. You will not lie on a couch but a few sessions and you will be fine. I only went to see the psych twice and I felt better. If you don't have this available just organize yourself. Write on a random piece of paper(i was never one to keep a diary) what is making you feel like that. Begin to organize your day. Get a hobby like joining a gym or helping out at a elderly home. That's all the advise I got. Good luck it'll get better.

There must be a reason for these feelings. When you are all alone, lets say, lying in bed at night, think to yourself: whats wrong here? Maybe you could see a therapist (I have been depressed for long periods of time. Talking always makes me feel better). Maybe you could talk to someone online (some people wont agree, but a friend is a friend) and ask their advice. I am always available if you need to talk! I have been thru so much in the last year. I am sure I can relate to you.

you should talk to a doctor. maybe you feel smth that is about to happen, somth bad.
or if you dont want to see a doctor. go to meditation class, relax a little, and think of somthing good that happened in your life.
and at night, before you go to sleep. make a hot tea, but instead of sugar, add a teaspoon of honey. honey calms ur nerves and make you very pleased and relaxed.

think about all the little things in life that make you happy.

think about that warm summer day when your freshly rested and sitting down at a big breakfast with the bright sun shinning in.

think about how good that movie makes you feel

about how it felt when you got an A in that tough class

when you helped that person out, how it made you feel good inside.


it's the little things that we so easily forget but which make life all so much.


it is easy to dwell on bad things, but don't forget what it feels like to be happy...

Sounds like You're Depressed & need to talk to someone. FIND that Person, & STOP taking your Unhappiness out on Your Self. Whatever the "matter" is- you need to have it looked into. Life IS worth living...but NOT worth dying for... Get Help, hang in there- & good luck! :)

V Cutting yourself relieves the pressure by distracting you for a little while but is totally the worst way you could react to your feelings.I know it brings relief and is addictive.
Its called Self Injury and I want you to know that you are not alone and I know its too hard for you to be able to express feelings and need to cut when it gets over whelming.That can change!
Please don't feel guilty.You are NOT alone and the Counsellor will assist you in getting into good control of you ..The Doctor can help you with relaxing .
Start by call the Doctor OK?
Before you get any sicker than you are.
Please know you can search here for answers or you can take the huge step of getting counselling with someone who KNOWS and understands MUCH more about self injury than you do and can help you SO much. to recover.You cant do it on your own anymore and you DO know that the self Injury isnt helping anymore.that its time to reach out and not hide anymore..

Just think of the good you have. There are people out there who have no home, no food, no love. I'm sure you have these things in life. Just appricate what you have, life have it's lovely thinks to offer and bad things. But think positive.

Focus on what is right, not wrong. Find someone to help, a friend, relative, anyone that can help you keep it together. Find a hobby or a goal you set to help keep your mind far from harmful thoughts.

It sounds like you have serious depression. Get yourself to a Dr. ASAP! You may need meds to regulate your seritonin/hormones.

We all have periods of depression, so they are normal. However, if you are feeling suicidal then you need to get professional help. Please know you are worthy and loved, by others and the universe/God unconditionally. You are a worthy person, and you have a lot of life left for you to live.
