Me too Im crying at the moment. Ive had the worst 6 months of my life. Ive tried councilling before but I keep saying to myself their is always someone who is worse of than me and Ive got my health. Since October last year my ex husband and the father of my kids has had a heart seisure and was resussateted. My Nana who I was extremly close to has died of cancer my partners ex has moved his kids 250 miles away and keeps giving grief, my partner and I split up although he came back, however his family have dissowned him. The baliffs are on the door for his business. My ex hubby has got most of the money from the sale of my former matromonial home and its contents and wont work again so that he doesnt have to pay me maintinence. My Aunt was found dead in the bath 3 days ago and my car is now a write off as the head gasket has gone and my gear box also. Failing that I cant remember much of the other crap that has been going on. Stay on Yahoo Answers and pour your troubles and frustrations of your life into peoples questions and get points too just as I have done. (Im not crying anymore) :0)

I am sure you know that depression is caused by a life that has become intolerable. Is there anything you can do to give yourself a pick me up - new hair do, nightout with friends, plan a holiday for you and the kids. Another very good way of dealing with depression is to read the books of Dorothy Rowe. She writes quite amazing books about depression. Like you, I suffer from the big D and I find her books such a comfort. Good luck.

Get your own MySpace page and join different groups that you're interested in. It will help you find like-minded people or keep you entertained long enough to keep your mind off of being depressed. Cheer up, you can be MY friend!

Ohhh i feel for you, i often feel like that, have no friends , they all live in S-Africa a bit far to pop in for a cup of coffee. Play some good music, polish your furniture, bake a cake read a book if you want to be cheered up read a silly book like 'Sophie Kinsella's', Shopaholic and baby or any of her other shopaholic books, they are hilarious and cheers me up no end. I know it is difficult feeling cheerful when you feel down and out but i will be thinking of you , please cheer up
and i wish you well. From one that knows all about it.:))
Ps. You can contact me as well, anytime.:)

Hi Claire,
Sorry to hear you're feeling down.
Would it be possible to get away for a couple of days? Go and see a friend or family member and have someone to take care of your children? That way you can relax, have time to yourself, and de stress?
Is it possible to have an appointment with someone else where you go for your counselling sessions? Or you could call The Samaritans on 08457 90 90 90 or email them at jo@samaritans.org

Well interacting with other people is probably the best start. Don't hide away at home very day. Get fresh air, go for a walk. Come on Y/A and talk with us. Having too much time alone thinking will make it worse.
