Well the first thiing you need to do, is find out where your stress is coming from. Children? Work? Not enough time in your day? Money? Friends? Spouse? There are a lot of things that could cause stress. A good time management plan could help with time related issues. And with friends and spouse and good conversation is healthy to get everything out in the open. Agree to disagree. With money issues, thats a little more difficult, but researching possible actions, and creating a budget and sticking to it, and making a plan for what you want to do with your money in the future helps a lot. If children are your problem, talk to some other parents about what you need helo with. Or read some parenting books at the library, or if your kids are old enough, then simply have a heart to heart talk with them. In the meantime before you figure out whats causing the stress, you could go for walks or runs. Bike ride, or like someone else said, go to the gym, for me personaly, singing seems to ease my mind, not LISTENING to music, but SINGING to it. LOL. But it has to be happy and inspiring, something that you can relate to on a positive side. Oh yeah, when I was in the Army I joined the boxing team, sometimes you just need to hit something...LOL. Also learning something new and interesting to you can relieve stress, or find a hobby, or just make time for a hobby you already have.

STRESS is selfish!!! go do something for someone else or help out some critter origiz. you will feel better no matter what your stress is . my dad -years ago- would make me pull weeds till i could figure out something to do when i was stressed. it worked---i didn't want to pull weeds so i would go find some thing to do with my pitiful self.. ..and everyone seemed to enjoy my company when i felt like i was doing something for them. so get out there and quit suffering with yourself! go---

There are many ways to get rid of your stress. Like Joining the gym (participate in body jam, body combat, yoga and etc). another way is rare a pet (a dog, cat or fish) depending on your interest. last but not least, listening to music is one of the best medicine in getting rid of stress. See your family doctor. Have them run some blood work and possibly run a EKG to be on the safe side. Your serotonin levels may be off a bit. He may prescribe you somthing to help you get back on track and suggest an excercise and diet Plan for you.

Yes I agree. If you are in an office or enviorment where you can't just leave. Go to the bathroom. Do 10 star jumps. You feel really silly but it works.

If stress is a continual issue, find something productive like learning a musical instrument or taking up martial arts. Both will give you something immediate, fun, and worthy of your time to do. When you practice either for 15 minutes or so when you have had the bad day, you will get a release. Particulary with martial arts since endorphins are generated. And both can be perfected for the rest of your life.

The most important thing is that you might have engrossed too much in what you were doing when you should take it easy as you move on and take a break and relax yourself before you attempt again. It helps you to get rid of the stress.

depends on what kind of stress you are dealing with...sometimes there can be multiple causes of the stress, money worries, family problem, work related stress are a few common situations. best thing to do is try and pin-point the stress cause which will help you progress. OK, so some people get over stress easier than others but most people, with a little work, will. try using incense oils or sticks. Lavender helps you relax and can stimulate the brain. taking time to get fresh air can be just as effective. try looking at landscapes also, this causes your eyes to relax as they aren't being used to look at closer objects. find a hobby. painting can help or believe it or not some computer games can provide relaxation. i find games with deep storylines very relaxing and exciting at times. these are mostly alternative methods as i expect you have already tried some methods prior to asking this question. hope this helps

Always think positively. You have the power to do and undo the things You like. You can solve your problems through Your mind which is called "sub-conscious mind".
