I feel very different from my family and others.
I don't have alot of friends.
I would prefer to be on my own.
I am really shy and uncomfortable when talking to people.
I think anout suicide and ways to commit it, but I don't think I would ever do it.

I hope that you are considering talking to someone that is not in an online setting. I know that it can be more comfortable to talk to people that you do not see, but we unfortunately cant help you as much as a counselor in your area. I know that what you feel is very scary.... it seems for the most part that youa re out of control, and because of that you can begin to feel ashamed and useless. I think that you are suffereing from some sort of depression. Please do not beleive what you see on T.V. Depression is very serious, if untreated it can lead to far worse things than it already has. Please consider what I have said and talk to someone .... anyone, as I am sure there are people that care, and do wish to knwo if you are hurting. Your in my thoughts..... |

Only a doctor can make a diagnoses, but I have been right where you are. I had all of the same exact symptoms. I was diagnosed with major depression, generalized anxiety disorder, PTSD, and reinactive attachment disorder. Your symptoms are common with the first two I listed. I am in full recovery now. I get straight A's in college and work 3 jobs as a health care professional. I still have bad days just like everyone else, but I am overall happy and secure in my own skin. How did I get better? Medication to fix the chemical imbalance in my brain, abstaining from drugs and alcohol, and lots of therapy. It took almost a year of switching my meds around to find the combination that works for me~ Prozac and Buspar. I still see my therapist once a week. So hang in there, it can get better if you are willing to work for it. Take the first step ASAP~ call your doctor and tell her all of the things that you told us on the net. It may help to write it all down before you talk to her so that if you get anxious, you won't forget what you want to say. Good luck to you! |

join christian fellowships! look in your locality. Also take time with your friends go hanging out with them, just make sure that they are not bad influence that could lead you to serious vices! |

It sounds like you might be clinically depressed, which is different than a personality problem. If you don't want to feel like this, maybe you should talk to a counselor, teacher, etc. |

The test is very detailed and will give you a good analysis of anything that’s possible. Once you are pretty confident you may have a problem(s), then seek the assistance of a mental health professional right away. Good luck! |

According to the reading I have done regarding hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) the brain, when it senses that blood sugar is low, will do sometimes strange things to get the blood sugar (glucose) out of storage and into the blood stream. If this does not work, then the brain tries to slow down the body and depression and suicidal thoughts can result. Suggestion? The next time you feel like you are putting yourself down, feeling bad, thinking about suicide, go to the kitchen and get some protein, meat, a can of tuna or whatever, and eat it. Also have some carbohydrate, like a handful of chips, or some carrots/Celery and some nuts or peanut butter. Eat at least 2 ounces of the protein. Then drink a glass of water and do something active for 30 minutes. You may find your bad thoughts about yourself and the world have lessened a bit. Chronic low blood sugar can cause self-esteem problems, anger management problems and a whole bunch of other physical and mental nasties. Its not my job to diagnose. But it sounds like you need to get some help, counseling and maybe some medication. It may be what they now are calling a dissociative disorder...they used to call it borderline personality disorder... but you really need a doctor to meet with you and check the criteria in the DSM to see if you meet enough of it. Please don't stay alone. There are a lot of groups, and I don't mean just with the computers. They have support groups at alot of mental health places for people like you and me so that you can learn how to come out of your shell, work on your skills and your issues....I hope you can find the help you deserve. You are definitely depressed. Go talk to your doctor and see what s/he can do to help you out. Zoloft is my friend and it can be yours too;) It also sounds like you have some self esteem issues. You may find learning something new or finding a creative outlet to express yourself will help. If you decide to go see a therapist, and I think you probably should, open up to him/her-- they can't help you if you aren't willing to open up. Please go and get some help. I've been where you are now, and I can honestly say it can get better with time and good drugs. It won't make you more outgoing or less shy (although there are things to help with that), but it will make you happier with yourself. |

i think u mite hav an anxiety prob,which can definatly affect the way u r around others...and espesially if uv had trouble with ur family whilst u wer growing up in n e way can affect that too...u shud go t councelling...(not a bad thing) just helps u alot!...my friend used t go t one n it really did help her...gud luck! :) |

Your symptoms do not describe someone with personality disorder, but rather someone with depression & low self esteem. Both of these problems are fixable. Don't waste any more of your life feeling badly- get some help. |

I do assessments for people who have been taken to the hospital because they are "In Crisis," as part of my job at the Counseling Clinic I work at... Honestly, from what you have written, sound as if you have some Social anxiety, Depression, Low Self-esteem. I wouldn't jump the gun and say you have a "Personality Disorder." I say that from a clinical standpoint, in that TRUE personality (operative word here is PERSONALITY) disorders, can be treated, although it is very VERY hard to keep at a functional level. Meaning you feel like a normal person. It does sound like you may have a Mental Health Disorder...which would be very easy to treat, and easy to maintain. If you are willing and WANT the help. Sounds like you need to make an appointment with a Counselor who can help you 1. Process the depression 2. Help you over come the social anxiety. 3. Teach you better coping skills than "hurting yourself." Hope this helps! |

It is hard to say. You cannot diagnose someone based on a few sentences. I would say probably not. The only real concern on the list is that you harm yourself. That is not normal. Everything else is. You may want to see a doc. about that. |
