get out and do something you want to do. figure out what triggered your depression and let it go. another several people who have responded to you have some really great suggestions like a well-lit room or being outdoors. when i'm feeling that way i have found exercise to work wonders!!!! i don't know if you live near water but going and sitting on the beach by a lake whatever and contemplating on the good things in your life will help as well
please keep us posted on how your progressing!!!!

we all get those days. you will probably feel great tommorow. orgasm may lift your spirits. if it lasts longer than a day (no not that, the depression) keep busy, maybe you should get a job(that worked for me) or find a hobby, check out religion or spirituality web sites.

You Gotta have humor in your life...
A Very Faithful Woman
An elderly lady was well-known for her faith and for her boldness in talking about it. She would stand on her front porch and shout "PRAISE THE LORD!"
Next door to her lived an atheist who would get so angry at her proclamations he would shout, "There ain't no Lord!!"
Hard times set in on the elderly lady, and she prayed for GOD to send her some assistance. She stood on her porch and shouted "PRAISE THE LORD. GOD I NEED FOOD!! I AM HAVING A HARD TIME. PLEASE LORD, SEND ME SOME GROCERIES!!"
The next morning the lady went out on her porch and noted a large bag of groceries and shouted, "PRAISE THE LORD."
The neighbor jumped from behind a bush and said, "Aha! I told you there was no Lord. I bought those groceries, God didn't."
The lady started jumping up and down and clapping her hands and said, "PRAISE THE LORD. He not only sent me groceries, but He made the devil pay for them. Praise the Lord!"

call on the angels and then just trust. They will never let you down. Breath deeply through your nose and exhale for as long as possible. Even if you don't believe in angels they will still help you. Look for signs such as feathers or tiny flashes of white light. They will find a way to let you know they are there. Have a good laugh. rent funny movies and arrange to meet friends who make you laugh. For the present, stay away from poeple who have too many problems. When you feel better, you will be able to help. Take good care of yourself, because you are precious and loved unconditionally.

Turn on lights.....lights are proven to put people in a better mood. Eat a good meal, and treat yourself to something you love (new shoes, a good movie, whatever). If it gets serious, and continues on a day-to-day basis, see your doctor. Anti-depressants can work wonders

If you feel like crying - do! Don't keep it bottled up. Best of all if you can get a huge hug from someone. But if that's not possible, have a good cry and give yourself permission to feel sorry for yourself for a few minutes.
Writing down how you feel often helps. Sometimes when you write down all the things you feel it gives you some perspective. It's hard to think straight when you're depressed so it can take time to work out if your thoughts are rational or not. But try to look at what you've written at another time when you don't feel down, to see if you can work out the patterns in your depressed thinking - this helps for next time!
Try any of the following - phone a friend and go out for a drink - take a long walk (exercise is a proven mood lifter) - watch your favourite funny feelgood film (also proven to lift mood) - have a nice long bath and spoil yourself.
Most importantly, you have to allow yourself to feel better, to do the things that you know are going to make you feel better.
Over the long term, it helps to keep a diary about how you cope and also with positive thoughts and ideas for lifting your mood.
Plus, you should probably also talk to your doctor about getting some kind of counselling or medication - you really don't have to live with depression. If you need help, ask.

Faith, Friends, Family.
Do you have someone you can talk to? Someone who will just listen instead of trying to fix things? Someone who will put their arm around you while you cry? Someone to hug you until you feel strong? Go to them.
If not, then phone the Samaritans. That is what they exist for.

There is nothing wrong with crying, sometimes there is nothing better than a good cry,
But if you think it could be depression then try some exercise even if its something as simple as a walk, this can help to trigger your happy hormones.
Try to think of what it is that could be triggering your depression, and just remember that it doesn't have to be something that is happening in your life now it can be a build up and now that you are relaxing you body is now telling you hay I need some help.
You may be sad about something and have no one to speak to well sometimes it is good to speak to someone you don't know, that way you get it out and the person will not judge you.
Again depending on the circumstances will depend on the best advice I could give you.

Bad days - everyone has them, so you go for a walk and you turn it around. It hellps clear the mind. Getting 30 minutes of early morning sunshine helps also.
It's more the intensity that you can control because somethings in life were meant to depress us so it's a matter of how long we're depressed. and then here are some things that you can take some control over how you feel by using some of the strategies listed below:
1. Learn some ways to relax and incorporate them into your daily routine. Even if too much stress and tension aren't the cause of your depression (although they very well might be), they certainly aggravate it.
2. Identify things that are pleasant for you and plan them into your schedule. Research suggests that depressed people have a lack of pleasurable events in their lives and that they actually avoid things that give them pleasure.
3. Increase your activity level. Unfortunately, depressed individuals don't have much energy for exercise, so they tend to remain inactive. Low activity level serves to increase depressed feelings, which then inhibit activity further. To break this cycle, schedule daily exercise that is appropriate for your lifestyle and conditioning level. Take a walk, it's not how fast you walk, it's just the movement - the act of doing it. Remember the turtle and the rabbit. The turtle won the race because he kept on moving at a slow comfortable pace. It's the fact that he finished the race that's important.
4. Identify self-ctitical thoughts and switch to self-rewarding thinking. In other words, get off your back. It is easy to make yourself depressed by being overly harsh and critical.
5. Analyze your social behavior. Many depressed people are lonely and isolated. By learning new social skills and assertive communication, you can often get needed support .
6. Children might avoid the need for presciption antidepressents and if the one of the parents are depressed, getting the parent help can prevent the child from becoming depressed.
7. Listen to soft soothing relaxing music or something with lots of rhythm. Music is to the spirit of mankind like a bandaid is to a cut.
8. Learn way to control your anger ie: a hobby such as karate, tae kwan do, tia chi, yoga or anger management classes.
9. Learn to meditate. Two minutes, 10 minutes and 20 minutes.
10. Research shows that depressed people tend to be deficient in mostly B vitamins. Take a B vitamin complex and 5000 mg of sublingual vitamin B12. (Se vitamin therapy in my list)
11. Drink lots of water add a few drops of apple juice or grape juice to the water to give it a sparkle. Research shows that even a little dehydration can cause us to be depressed.
12. Support group. you can alsway IM me.
